Hi folks! Back from vacation! I am convinced that I might be able to live on she-crab soup and shrimp and grits.

Bert, passed on your info to a couple vape shops down in Myrtle Beach, they were super impressed with my Trippies. :D

Not sure what to make on this whole FDA stuff. I just got back into town so I haven't gotten to read a whole lot. Part of me feels like I need to go stock up on liquid nicotine for the e-liquid apocalypse, but mostly I'm just sad because I feel like in the end Big Tobacco companies and Big Pharma will be the winners and it's depressing to think that corporations would rather keep making us sick for the sake of money.

It also surprises me that as we move towards legalization of the green herb of many of my people (ok, they didn't censor that), that we are making vaping less accessible. Heck, I was impressed at the number of vaping devices that are coming out for the green herb of many of my people as it gives people more smoke-free options for that as well, which in my opinion is not a bad thing. Although, I listen to a lot of anti-vapers, and wow, they have some real misinformation. My sister lives in Virginia, where you can still smoke in restaurants and feels that vapers should have to be in the smoking section. I think that's not entirely fair, as why should I be subject to second hand smoke either, but that's a whole different battle.

Damselle, nursing school had to be put on hold, at least for the time being. Some family stuff is going on, and it has to be settled out first. Unfortunately, I did not get the job that I interviewed for, but I'm getting out 5 resumes a day, so eventually something will come through. It's hard because I have 20 years of clerical/secretarial experience and a lot of people are looking to pay some kid $8/hour to do the work that I'm experienced in. Although at this point $8/hr is WAY more than I'm making, so I'm starting to consider it. I have a few gaps in my employment from when I was needed to provide care to my family, and I'm wondering if that isn't really hurting me. I've never been a job hopper and have very good references, so I'm not sure why I'm having such a tough time. Trying to stay optimistic, but it's frustrating when you look at money coming in and then bills going out. I'm so thankful to be debt free.

Hope everyone is doing well. As per usual, I'm rambling. :D

My DnL just came over with 3 tiny kittens that my son found on his boat this morning when he went fishing. They don't have their eyes open yet and bless their hearts just meowing up a storm. She went to TSC and got some kittens milk and a bottle kit. I told her the bottle kit is to big for them at this point. So I got out a baby tylenol syringe, cleaned it up and showed her how to hold the babies to feed them. She doesn't believe me when I tell her they will be hungry every 1-2 hrs for a bit. I hope the momma cat shows up looking for them. Son made sure to park his boat in the usual spot, maybe she'll show back up for them but it's about to storm so they took the kittens inside for the night.

Edit: Just found a dropper that I used a couple years ago for other kittens that I found, yeah, that'll be much easier.

Every 2-3 hours like clockwork. Their little lives depend upon it. It is not easy doing that day after day. I hope mama comes back for them. If she doesn't they will need the 2-3 hour feedings for at least two weeks, Willow. Then she can move to 4 hours for a week, and then every 4 hours during the day and 6 at night so the feeder can get some rest. In a week they should be able to handle the long skinny nipple. I usually bottle mine until they are 5 weeks while introducing kitten pate at 3-4 weeks depending upon their size. PM me if you need any help....

Last night I tried 6mg juice. I've been vaping 12mg since the beginning of this year - down from 18mg last year :) I thought it would be too low but remarkably it was okay! I plan to vape 6mg after dinner and hopefully switch to 6mg full time by my fourth vaperversary in December!

Nicotine has been enjoyed (since the American Indians' Peace Pipes) because it's a "Dual-Action" psychotropic drug. When you're tired/sleepy it will energize you...but when you're nervous/anxious it will calm you down. (Plus it has incredible effects on Short Term Memory!)

Me, specifically...being 68 yo and with a family history of Alzheimer's...I keep my nicotine level at 12mg. since nicotine is the only substance (so far) found to be effective in the delay/prevention of senile dementia/Alzheimer's.

Hi all. Hope your week's off to a great start.
Personally, I'm at 8-9mg nicotine. When I first started, I was at 24 and have been decreasing steadily since. I drop when I notice that the current dosage gives me the jitters. I've been at the current level for at least 6 months and have no desire yet to decrease further. That said, I'd really love to find a source for non-tobacco nicotine. Even if it's more expensive, I prefer to not have any of my money going to Big Tobacco if at all possible.

I've always regretted that I never picked up a Trippy in this color scheme. Any chance of it returning, or does anyone have one in this color scheme they would be interested in trading or selling?

If not we might be able to work something out ;)

Freddy and I saved small amounts of the classic art glass that was used to create some of the original TrippyTips!
