Good AFternooners TrippyKin,
I hope the first week of March is good to you
Our new smart TV taught me a lesson this past weekend! Don't leave the TV set on for hours on your favorite channel!
I'm a great fan of detective shows and have been ever since CourtTV! When CourtTV changed it's name to TruTV, I found I didn't care for the programming as much. Then I found the ID channel on Discovery and it has become my favorite channel. Anyways, I watched the Investigation Discovery channel for hours on Friday night. On Saturday morning my husband was quite upset to see the ID logo burn-in ghost on the lower right of our TV screen
Left as seen when on TV - right burned in logo!
I don't blame him, especially as we have spent hours trying to eradicate the stupid shadow the huge white ID letters left on the screen! Now we know it's there and we can't un-see it!
Last night we left the TV on with its internal Pixel-Orbiter on all night - but it's still there. We're going to try some other apps suggested on the Audio Visual Forum, like Pixel jogger and HDTV Burn in. Wish us luck
