morning friends. like many others of us im goingthrough alot of junk too, latest is having to put simon ( our old siamese friend) down. sometimes things just dont seem fair at all. we got simon about 10 years back from the shelter and he was probably 7-8 then. he grew with us as a family and is very loved. tomorrow we say goodbye

Mike, I'm definitely feeling your pain. I still half-expect to see Samantha on the island when I walk in from class, demanding her can of food. And it's taken me a week to get used to not having her curled up right against me when I sleep.

Morning all. TGIF!
I'm dreading tonight's banquet. It's a 30 minute drive at the best of times. Instead I get to deal with Friday afternoon rush hour and thunderstorms! I'm planning on 90 minutes to get there. If I get there early, there's a bar so it's all good.

Thanks Wharf Rat. I have crumbled the bones in my right hip so back in for another operation to replace the hip joint. There seems to be a small growth within the bone itself so let hope it's not the dreaded "C" again. I thought I would have a rest this year from Doctors. When this is all over Ralf and I plan to go on Cruise next year so we are saving our pennies for that. I am so looking forward to next year. I wonder if my daughter would let me take Meredith along.
