Evening Tipsters, Sorry I haven't been around. I have been away healing and getting well. I can now walk without crutches or any pain. The first time in 2 years. It feels wonderful, like living a new life.
Ralf is back at work but still finding it a little hard. He gets tired quickly and out of breath. He is working hard at physio so we are hoping he will come good soon.
I miss you all and hope everyone is well and living the dream, whatever yours may be.
I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel and hope to be back at work in about 6 weeks.

Morning all!
Coralie, I'm so glad you're feeling better!
Dam, I just re-wicked my KFL and it's night and day! This time I did this:
I took my pad, after separating it into 2 halves (they're too thick on their own, and cut a strip just wider than my coil, then cut it in half. I compressed the end and slipped it through the coil. Some of the cotton was bunching up behind so I just pulled that piece off, leaving me with enough cotton to slip through the coil, but with a bit of resistance. I didn't fluff, because you really can't fluff KGD. I clipped the ends, leaving about 1/2 inch on each side and wet the wicks and mashed them against the wall. I definitely haven't been using enough cotton. Much better vapor and flavor!:D

Ok, here's my experience:

Changed wicks, left about a 1/4 inch tail on each side, fluffed and tucked around posts. Better flavor, but about 75% less vapor! There's not much room in the RM2 for wick. Thought it was a just flooded so kept vaping. Burnt wick.

Changed wick. Cut tails to edge of atty, fluffed. Good flavor, 100% better vapor. This might work :)

Morning all. Hope y'all had a great weekend.
I'm glad the new wicking's working out for your Dam. I know it's going to take a while and a whole lot of experimenting to get used to doing my own wicks and coils. I was amazed at how easy the guy at Vapor Inn made it look, lol.
I tried a new recipe this weekend and it was awesome: Fleur de Sel chocolate chip blondies. Think thick, gooey chocolate chip cookies in a brownie form with a slight salty kick. I couldn't find Fleur de Sel but I did score a box of Maldons Sea Salt flakes, which is my new favorite ingredient, lol. I catch myself licking my finger as I walk by the container and doing a salt lick. Bad for me, I know but I love the flavor.
