Ok there's a screw in there, so is it airflow control or juice drain? With the screw in or out it leaks like a siv. So it either has to be something about that or could it be that I didn't ou enough wick in it? I kept them short, inch in each side.

I received my plasma tank from BVH today and there seems to be plier marks on the base. Is this common? This is my first trippy purchase and I absolutely love it, but was just curious.
Amber. Big hole is air intake. The small hole has a screw that adjusts air intake.
Screw on the bottom is the juice fill.

Thanks guys! It still leaks like a siv but I got to inspecting the orings and the one that connects the mouth piece to the chimney looks damaged so I'm hoping that's the problem.

Hope everyone is havin' a good Hump Day. I'm at work enjoying my latest acquisition of a lo-pro silver-vein REO Grand with a Nuppin RBA. I got one of the large-bore Loki-labs drip tips in the deal but it's still so much better with a Trippy on top.
Bert, At first I thought I read Vape Bash which is in Chicago in April. Thought for a minute I had gotten the dates wrong and was hoping to hang out with you being so close. Oh well, I know I'll be back out before too long. Hope it's a great show for you. Brew

To follow up regarding my Trippy Nuppin post,
Well, I'm now even more sold on the REOs after a few weeks with the Kayfun 4s. The damn KF4s are just too fiddly and I'm sure some of it is due to mine being clones. Getting the juice control closed every time without using a small rod inserted into an air-hole is a pain, losing internal contact with the coil due to the spring component inside is annoying and trying to get the chimney off without unscrewing the tank is next to impossible. Not to mention trying to clean and maintain the internal components on a regular basis has this "too busy" guy loving the uber-simple to maintain REOs even more.
The Nuppin rocks but is a bit noisey in a public environment. Already had a co-worker in the office next to mine say he can hear me drawing and the snap, crackle, pop is audible. So the RM2s really fit the bill out and about since there fairly quiet by comparison. Still using single 10 wrap 1.3Ω micro coils with KGD cotton. I'm still very enamoured with the Kayfun Minis for stealth but REOs are going back to being my "for everything else" solution. However, the Nuppins will be gracing my at-home mods since the flavor and vapor are just a level above what an RM2 can do and the flood/drain capabilities are second to none. The Cyclone may be so similar in vapor taste/production that there's no reason to switch but I really like the AFC on the Nuppin and the size fits the Lo-pro REO grand like they were made for each other.....since they were! I'm going to have Mr. REO mod my now dead VV Grand for Lo-Pro and will try my hand at adding a DNA 30 setup. Could be an awesome platform for the Nuppin and my Trippy Tip collectibles.
I may just send Bert one of my clones to see if he could do some kind of Trippy Tank piece for them. May not be for me but I know a whole bunch of vapers according to the Indy Vapor Shop are really lovin' the KF4. The long-mode upgrade for the KF4 takes it to 6.5ml. Would be great to see some of those Indy vapers rocking some Trippy glass. Is it Friday yet?

Brew. I have two authentic KF4s. They exhibit none of those issues. Seraphina uses one with no assistance from me. That alone says alot.

I have the kf4 and have also not experienced any issues, but dammed if I don't keep going back to the kfl+ with a plasma for the flavor and being able to see everything that's going on
A friend of mine picked me up this awesome carved wood spinner style ego today and I want to use it but don't want to damage it. Any suggestions on something I could use to protect it from dings and chipping?

Amber, it's a beautiful mod. From the look of it, it's not sealed. I'd suggest polyurethane. It's what I use when I refinish furniture.

I am now torn between upping for a real KF4 and going to the KFL+. I only use this platform at home with Coffee vape in the AM and late night cocktail vape. I too am a dedicated flavor chaser and have seen comments saying the KFL+ still bests the KF4. Bert, I think you're pushing me back to the KFL+. Off to the try to find a real KFL+ as the plasma has been screaming at me ever since I saw that beautiful glass! Hope you all have a great Friday. Brew
