I know bare aluminum is prone to oxidation but what about the other materials that you are using Tom? What would be the best way to prevent this and keep the mods looking good?
I'm doing mods in aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, and titanium. I recommend the aluminum, it's tough and light everything else is really just overkill....but it does look really .. really, good[emoji39]

I've been abusing my first mod everyday for like a year and all I do is clean under the button every once in a while. I wipe it off when I over squonk juice all over it...I do that a lot . .

I assume the alum button has to be configured like this brass button above. If that's the case, that bevel on the edge and the button height is perfect.

If, however, it doesn't need the plastic insulator around it and you have a larger diameter alum rod that fits in there like that delrin button pictured...

The larger diameter would look better... At the height of the shorter brass button... With the same rounded edge.

We have different numbers of posts per page! <<<<<

I get the idea and never thought about the pos pin. Typical lack of attention to detail by me.

To be honest, I didn't give a single thought to the pos pin either. I just figured since it's an option...
I'm looking forward to seeing progress photos on this one!! ;)
Me too. :D

Tbev, in anticipation of the new mod I'd like to make sure I have on hand some extra stuffs like spare bottles and silicone tubing. Could you throw in a couple extra of each and/or let me know where I can obtain the correct sized items?

Thanks man!
Ditto this....

I include 2 bottle/hose setups with every mod. The bottles for the 18650s and 26650s are both standard 10 & 15ml bottles. The cap is a needle bottle that is drilled to fit. There are no wear items on this mod, no o-rings required and no b.s.your going to need to replace besides juice and batteries. If anyone wants I'll add a bottle or extra hose or both to orders, I like to keep attys and bottle/hoses together and just swap then out to change juices.

Phase let me know when you give me your address for shipping. That way I don't have to make another list, I'll just throw em in your box .

Got a link for those bottles and a bit size for the lid hole? You never answered about doing 7075 mods again just I case I need another one just like the Sniper Gray. I love the feel of 7075, it just feels a lot more solid than 6061.
Any 10ml. Needle bottle and any 15ml. Needle bottle. I think I got them from a local shop, you can get them from me if you need to as well.

As far as working with the different aluminum, on my end it doesn't matter. My tools don't really notice a difference and I don't mind working with it, that being said it's expensive. It's pricy but I aim to please so I'll use it if anyone wants .
