This bad boy looks like a diamond glittering in the early evening sun. I tried a bunch of ways to photo it but none do that slither glimmer Justice so this'll have to do.

Phase 2 of the Tmod maintenance took place tonight or at least 50% of it. Took a little Brasso metal polish to my Tmod, the end result wasn't necessarily what I was after, it's was better. Tmod starting to take on a mirror finish. Only done one side and id like to get to a higher sheen but damn it looks sick! I'll get pictures up when finished, she's hitting harder than every since early week deep clean and now she's shining bright looking damn fine! I'm loving the Tmod right now [emoji7]

I can't wait to get my tiny!!! Supe, knock it off with the pics! (not really) but you're going to make me change my mind on color...
(Tom-- not changing colors, promise) But it's a serious toss up between what I chose and that aluminum/slither.

Hey Tom, what kind of 510 you use on these TMods? No way you mill the threads into the aluminum, right? My Manta isn't playing nice with the threads. 510 is too big, it seats all the way to the bottom of the rda and never catches a thread. I had it working.. Well at least I thought I did. But now I'm struggling to get make it work. Unfortunately I don't have any other attys to try either, but either way.. This authentic Manta isn't liking it anymore.

Edit: Its official, the Manta will not work on my mod anymore. It caught a few threads before. But now it won't catch anything. I backed the positive pin all the way out to see if it would screw on, no luck. It slides right into the 510 and spins freely. WTF. I've got a Vector on the way, but probably won't be here until Monday. Kinda upset right now to be honest.

Edit x2: After looking further at my Manta, it looks like the threads are stripped on its 510. $100+ for an atty and this is what happens? I truly thought the Manta was the best thing out there. Guess I was wrong.

Not sure how SS threads would become stripped through screwing into alu that just can't happen. Sorry to hear that, do you at least have a dripping atty to tie you over. Give Tom a shout in catfish, he's likely to be in a position to give better advise

Yeah.. I don't see how it could happen either. It's just got wondering just how authentic this Manta actually is. Not questioning Tom over at Catfish, he's as straight up as they come, just got me wondering if there's something that got over on him as well. I'm gonna hit him up and see what we can come up with. I've been using the Manta for about a month now, so it's been on and off mods.. But threads should never strip on a $100 atty. Definitely not in a month.

I've never had anyone strip the threads in a mod, but aluminum should strip b4 ss for sure. I can't see them slipping a fake into a batch of authentic attys, more likely it's just stripped. You can buy die and chase the threads , or I can for you, ch probably can too., but if you can put it in the mod till it goes down in the hole without threading it's way too far gone.

I would recommend against trying to use that, it's a short waiting to happen.

Yeah.. It appears to be pretty well done. Kinda crappy.. I wouldn't have thought an authentic would have that kind of issue after only a month of use. Blows my mind.
