Understand that it's not your choice. Just seams like a horrible choice.

I thought M10x1.5 was the standard coarse thread per the ISO?
1.25 was the pitch I used to see for fine (though ISO says 1.25 or 1.0)
M10x1.5 ~ 3/8-16(UNC)
M10x1.25 ~ 3/8-20
M10x1.0 ~ 3/8-24(UNF)
M10x0.75 ~ 3/8-32(UNEF)

M10x0.5 ~ 3/8-50 which is a ridiculously fine pitch at that diameter.

Given the cost of taps, thankfully you are working with soft metal.
I'd hate to mess with it in steel, stainless, or Titanium!
Lol... I'm CAM not ISO. In my basement m10x1mm is the standard. Lol.

LOL :thumb:

It's still a fine thread ;)

And M10x0.5 is ridiculous and make no sense for them to have used.
I'd love to hear their reasoning/logic for that choice. All I can think is "Hey lets use some esoteric thread no one makes."

That's like choosing 1/4-56 or 1/2-40.

Oh, I did find some cheaper taps, but slow boat from China

Probably OK for aluminum ;)

I don't use Chinese taps but I do agree the 10x0.5 is illogical. I'm betting it's more a varitube thing than a Drunkj/Gigs thing. All of varitube's other 510s use the same 10x.5. FDV uses 10 X 1 on all of his. Seems like they intentionally don't want people to have a universal solution. Maybe I'm just plain wrong and the 10 x .5 will be the best thing ever. Luckily the top of my mod is pretty thick (6mm) so there should be plenty of meat for threads.

I have you marked as clear and paid on the list that matters.
Tom, sent you a message from my gmail account dealing with how to send you the check for the LBC and my color choice. I also wanted to know if you can squonk the mirage Evo rda for me. It's all there. I know your busy. Get back to me when you can.

So how does the Goon perform in terms of flavor?

Very well IMO. I thought with the larger chamber flavor would be lost, but that has not been my experience.

Forgot to add, I've been running with 2 of 3 holes open. All three open is ALOT of air.

Do you even squonk, bro?

what is everyone using to charge the lbc? i have been using the included cord and a wall plug adapter from my cell phone. the v=charge time is about 3 hours or so. is there anything i can use to cut down the charge time?

Look at the wall adapter and see what the output is in amps. If it is less than 1A, you'll want to use a 1A (or higher) wall adapter. The DNA200 will only charge at a max of 1A but you can use an adapter that is rated for higher than 1A output.

Also, if you have a USB 3.0 port on your computer, it will output 0.9A. Older USB ports output 0.5A.
