The color book came today from the anno company. Yellow anno looks like crap, dull and hollow. I'm looking for deep and rich and I'm assuming you are also. As of now yellow looks like a fail. The orange and turquoise look like winners though. Thoughts on powder coated yellow? I refuse to do cerakote, from what I have seen krypton is more durable on an aluminum mod; not throwing stones just my observation.

Here is a pic of the Yellow D with a very similar carbon fiber to the one I use.

Am I being over critical? Would you want a mod that color?

So pretty much if I love it so will you... Got it.
Powder coating opens up a Pandora's box of colors.
I will edit in a few pics

This is more what I'm looking for

I'd take that color too, although it looks green to me...but I could be color blind, never been tested.

I would, suggest instead of new screw you invest in a better driver a Hudy 1.5mm hex driver would make you a happy camper. The grubs in question look to be m3 X 6mm flat points. Being flat points they will have a tendency to back out under heating and cooling more so than other options but the others are much more likely to becom coil cutters. If you don't love the Hudy driver I will buy it from you.

Hudy driver ordered. I don't have a problem with the terminal screws backing out at all. Just getting them tight with out screwing up the heads because of the crap Allen included. Not using huge wire either 26 gauge Parralells I have been tuning awhile in this rda. Thanks for the size of the wren will let you know the out come thanks. I do realy enjoy this rda

Not me...doesn't look yellow from Arizona....:)
Looks like crappy gold to me. I think I'm going to have about 25 bodies dipped and stripped and make friends with my local powder coater. I think I will do batches of 5 or 10 of a certain color and sell them, take requests for colors and find an awesome powder, do a run of it and so on. I would rather do,that than try to sell a million mods to strangers. I'm contemplating pulling out of Facebook either altogether or at the bare minimum no more send ins from Facebook; it's just gotten to,be too much. Way too many tire kickers that have zero actual intent on following through on anything.

I forsee a bunch of Hudy drivers in your future. Bonus: the shaft on the 1.5mm is exactly 3mm and hard coated with some really slippery coating, works great for coil wrapping. That's part of the reason I use 3mm coils in everything. That same 1.5mm will work in most of your 3mm based 22mm+ attys as well. I have actually gotten to the point where I will rethread posts to 3mm just to keep everything uniform.

Agreed but in floroesent colors green and yellow go hand in hand.

Google: Prismatic Powders and spend hours looking at the possibilities. Back in my Reo days I would send Rob a pound of a color and he would make me a mod or 2 with it hence the floro yellow sl/lap and the matching mini sl/lp unlike Rob however I don't have a powder coater on retainer.... YET! I think this is a direction I would like to go. Thinking back the powder coated Reo went through hell and when I sold it a year later it still looked great.
