What is the inner diameter of that? How many wraps? Would that be ok with 26 ga Kanthal?

I would suggest 3mm inner diameter and 6 wraps with 26. Should ohm out to .7 or so. If you are looking for more power try the Sloth method of a parallel single. On drippers 26 is all I use but I use all regulated either d200 or sx350j so I can make up for coils that are built too high.

Ok. How do I do the sloth parallel method? I understand wrapping two pieces of wire at the same time but how do you do the spacing?

If it were me I would take 2 pieces of 26 and twist the ends together so the strands remain close together and wrap them with wide spacings like this one I screen capped from Sloth.

I just built mine my usual 26ga dual coil, 7 wrap on 2.5 .45 ohm
bottom of coils about level with the deck edge, be careful the coils don't touch the inner cap AFCs, they come close.
So far, I like it. AFC works good. Easy to build. As usual great job on the conversion. Like the clean no logo look.
If they make a V2, maybe make it a little shorter, and skip the plastic insert.
    Thanks Tom!

I do my parallels like tom describes except I don't twist the ends but that is a useful tip for sure. I just wrap 2 strands side by side and space my wraps, taking my time and making sure my strands stay together while wrapping. Don't over think it - just wrap naturally and they will be slightly spaced as a result. I also wrap a couple extra wraps and pull one off each side. Not necessary but those end wraps are less neat usually, and not as tight as the middle wraps.

Ok. Do you use a jig, coil master of just by hand on something? You should get a kickback from the maker of the maker. Your video is the reason I bought one. Thanks

With coil master you can do a single 26g spaced. Wrap as normal when done continue to hold the one lead with your left hand then start pulling the other end stretching the coil out. You can do a few extra wraps because you will probably stretch out the last one or two at the end pulling them off the end of rod getting more spacing.

I wrap parallels by hand around around a screwdriver. Some people make them using a coil master but I haven't been successful in trying. Thanks for the props :)

That's up to personal preference and many here seem to prefer 3mm. I use 2.4mm currently. I tend to like 2.4 and 2.5mm IDs

Imo 3mm works better for regulated but only when overdriving your coils. For mechs I would always use 2.5-2.7 unless I was doing an extreme (so to speak) build (24g, pre made Clapton wire, etc). Again only my opinion....
