I agree , my maker is on my cc and is my pocket setup, never leaks , flavors awesome, i can flood it and it drains completely. Great atty. Topcap is tight but you can see right down the chuff, only time i remove it is to change cotton or rebuild. It also has some of the best allen post screws of any rda ive had.
I'm with you guys, lots of love for the Maker. I've got a matte black on top the neon yellow LBC and it looks killer, plus it Vapes like a champ.

i thought that the reason I didn't like the Maker & the predator is that they were top air. Now I think it is because my typical builds were too small for those atties. I base this on that now I have a Typhon & love it. But it's chamber is reduced & I use my normal 26g Kanthal coils. I mentioned to Tom awhile back that I hoped he would consider doing a run of the Chi-Typhons. I do love the authentic but it ain't cheap...$155ish with delrin or ultem DT. It has plates which I wouldn't mind doing away with on the Chi version. No leaks which is good & I would say wide open a little more air than a Narda. Great atty with all but 2 holes open if you like a restricted lung hit. IMO.

When I get home I will look through my box of treasures. I will say I do have a brand new matte black maker. I also have a crapload of wotofo Rogue clones as well. The more I think about it... being he is a tank guy I would imagine dual post center coil would be more his speed. The maker covers that. I also have a few Marquis clones both new and used. I also have a velocity v1 (authentic) that I haven't used in months that I would let go.
I appreciate that Tom. While the Maker sounds like probably the best all around solution, it might be too much for his budget. Let me know what price is for the Maker, and I'll run it by him. I'll also show him pics of what you listed and anything else you might reply with.

Thanks again!

I can't get the top cap off my Maker. Won't budge. Any suggestions?
With my hands, I run into situations like that often :(
I finally cut a small rectangular piece of that bumpy rubber-ish cupboard liner.
I wrap that around it, and PULL (Nuppins).... but it has to be attached to a mod.
It works pretty good for me, as it doubles my grip.
But, I have to attach it to a mod, or ohm tester to pull it off.... that's the key to getting it separated.
There's NO WAY I can hang onto that little screw part, and pull it apart :w00t:
Hope it works for you too

I'll try the freezer/hot water trick. If it doesn't work, I'll find someone with much more brute strength than I have!

Thanks, Peng and Trav.
You can send it in and I will pull it apart and lube it for you. If cleaning it and storing it I would suggest a tiny bit of cooking oil on the O-rings. If it's going back into service any Juice will keep it gliding. You also may want to keep tabs on Kiwi's experiment with other O-rings.

I do what Slots mentioned except I I had one of those yellow kitchen gloves used for cleaning & cut it so I have maybe a 5" x 5" peice. Works great for gripping. I use lip balm to coat my o-rings after I clean them or before I use them. I have some Burt's beeswax vanilla bean that I use.

Got it! Thanks, everyone :)

@Chowderhead1972, that's not all I got. :D

You know that beautiful azure blue of the water around Bermuda? The blue in the painting you love -- the one that reminds you of a perfect summer day? You know; it just makes you happy. That's the color of the LBC that arrived five minutes ago. I'm all a twitter, delighted beyond words.

Except these: Thank you, Tom. It's beautiful, easy as pie to use, and works a charm.

So i ordered som DIY from nude nicotine, received my order 1.5 weeks later. Just received an email about 5 min ago stating my order has been formulated and is about to ship. Its been a week since my order got here. I gues they just dont have it together , and if they want to ship me some free products, well im ok with that. I also feel like i should correct thier error. What do yall think?
I had the same thing happen to me. It was just a delayed e-mail.
