Okay so as soon as I saw this mod I knew I was going to get it over the other mods I had in mind. The fact that it can currently support 3 different chipsets in one module (box) is the best option for me. I've decided to wait for the first run to be produced, and wait for people to start getting their products before ordering mine. Which gives me time to make the decision of the SX or DNA version.
I'm torn between the two. I know the sx350j has been tried and true, but the DNA 200 looks to be a game changing chip. I keep thinking:

1. If I get the DNA version, I get the LiPo cells included in the mod, but there hasn't been much visual information on this chip for me to see so far besides a few different clips of it from the Opus 200, a picture of the HB DNA200, which I literally came across this morning:
image.jpg
and the silver DNA200 mod Rip Trippers teased everyone with only a glimpse of it. Another pro of the chip is that it runs off of a true 12.6v current with the 3S LiPo configuration and a 55 amp rating.
I have seen very little of the chip and while it can be a game changer, I'm still unsure considering Evolv's previous problems with the DNA40 TC chips in the past.

2. If I order the SX version, I know exactly what I'm getting. I know how to work a YiHi chip's interface (IPV mini, IPV4, Sigelei 100 & 50w), and i know way more about the sx350j considering I did my research, have used my buddy's SX mini M class for a week to see what it was like, and there's ample amounts of info on the net. And buying another couple pairs of vtc4's is cheap.
However, if I order the SX, and when (not if, I know I'll buy it, unless the Ares is a better chip) I want to buy the DNA kit, I fear it'll cost more because of the LiPo cells that come with the kit.
So it pretty much comes down to whether I want to step into the unknown with the DNA or get something I already know in the SX at the jump.
If anybody could give me a few reasons to go in one direction or the other (without bias towards Evolv or YiHi) I'd really appreciate it.

And side note: they have made a mod so far, it's not only a rendering. SX version:

I'd wait till after the dna 200 comes out and is in the hands of ordinary people plus it's likely a new yihi chip will be following soon after and we will see how future proof the whiteout will be, I'm hoping yihi make a chip it can accommodate but time will tell. Lot of stuff happening and hard as it is patience might be the best solution but shinyitis can be a powerful force lol.

Lol shinyitis is a very powerful force. Especially strong at the vape expo in nj over the weekend. I spent a ton of money lol, but I can justify it with the costs and the fact that I bought some things for the sole purpose of reselling to friends who wanted new mods.
If I could just see more on the DNA200, i don't care which mod it's in - I'd be more content. Rip trippers has been using the opus 200 in multiple videos so why can't he just give us more info on it! And now YiHi is claiming their sx330v4s to be their newest chip, but it still doesn't compare to the sx350j in my eyes. Since the sx350j came out there have been multiple updates, the ability to run a single battery or dual in either series or parallel, and now can be updated to 150w in series makes me think they may be releasing an updated sx350 chip itself, solely to compete with the DNA 200, as the sx330v4s is not as advanced as the 350j

At the risk of incurring the wraith of the evolv faithful the dna40 was nothing but a pain for me with the bugs and before I chance another penny on evolv I want normal people using it not reviewers or beta testers. I'm really hoping the whiteout is all it seems as the basics are perfect for most people and could make vaping even cheaper but really need to see some out in the wild. I admit it I'm a cynic but I've jumped on too many preorders and been a first adopter and it's not worked out well so now I take time.

In general it hits the whole EU in 2016. The new tobacco products directive literally kills vaping in the EU.
Regulated mods, refillable attys, high amounts of ejuice ..... prohibited.
That's why so many Europeans are stocking up right now.

I think there will be a major shift towards DIY. I expect shops to start selling concentrates because there's no way they can legally ban those. It's just some flavouring thrown together. If they try to ban flavourings it will mean every bake shop will go out of business.

It will be the nic liquid they hit us on after Xmas I'll be getting 10 litres in the freezer to keep me and the wife going for a few years by which time can only hope some common sense kicks in, not finding it easy to find the brown glass bottles but I'll keep plugging away till I find them. Stupid we've even got to think like this but money talks and we don't have enough.

Wick, wire, battery's and flavourings all have large non vaping use's no one is going to try restricting them so long as people are stocked on nic liquid they are good to go, I'm sure with enough time if the law isn't dropped we will find alternative ways to purchase nic liquid but I just can't believe it's come to this.

I read a very interesting and detailed post on "Reddit" about the DNA 200 and many seem to think that you would be wise to hold off on this chip for a while until any bugs are worked out . Some seem to think it will be a much more polished product down the line including the software.
Care to link ?

Big pharma has the EU stitched up so I'm not holding my breath on the TW challenge although UK parliament may not fully implement the TPD but no help to mainland Europe vapers. I read about regulated in I think it was rev 2 of the directive it was a 60 page booklet and it was about half way through but it's been revised again since so God knows they are basically making it up as they go :(.

If they think flashlights can be used for vaping I wouldn't put it past them that's how ridiculous all this is hell its become EU law after being defeated in a vote in the European parliament that's how screwed up it is. But what can you expect from an organisation that can't get it's financial accounts signed off. As a Brit we've got a chance to vote to get the hell out of the whole corrupt mess in 2017 can't come soon enough.

I've heard that the best thing that could happen to the EU is for Germany to get out and go back to the Deutsche Mark. Then weaker countries could devalue the Euro and have a chance to survive. Who knows....it might be the solution but I don't think Merkel is going to go for that.

Merkel and Hollande are up to their necks in the total mess the EU has become neither of them are even going to back proper reform of the EU much less come out of it all the currant political class of Europe including the UK have a strange fascination with the idea of the EU no matter how corrupt and inefficient the reality is very weird. It will be ordinary people at the end of their rope that will bring the EU down I really hope the UK votes to come out because it will take something of that magnitude to send a clear message.

Back on topic before we get told off has the live demonstration of the whiteout happened yet I know they delayed the first one just want to see more then just renders of it.

The bottles are readily available on ebay. Just search for "boston round bottles". Plenty of sizes to choose from.
