Cloud maker will be making a plug and play sled to put in place of the lipo to convert the box without wiring changes
I started this thread in May and we still have don't have the Whiteout available 
All the adds about Expect Us 07/01/2015 and here it is last day of October and Cloudmaker still don't have one for sale 
Seems like these guys are about as slow as ipv and Gearbest. According to their site they were gonna ship in October and still it says Pre-Order on their site.

Yeah... I'm currently in the market for a new mod. Actually, the only one I have is my backup. Really wish they had this stuff on the market. I'd have already ordered an Ares.
I pulled my preorder a few months ago, well partly due to my wife finding out. I've only heard bits and pieces over time and haven't seen either of the "owners" much on ECR anymore. For those who are still holding on I hope beyond hope this doesn't turn out to be like Pegasus's bull.....
They're site/blog section is a lot of talk, few videos and pictures. It is coming along apparently. I don't have an order in at all, I'm glad I decided to wait till the first batch started to hit consumers. But seeing as all of this delay may just keep going, I've decided to say **** it, I'm gonna preorder a Reuleux. Atleast I know JayBo Designs & Wismec are physically producing products and have started to get them in reviewers hands already.

Honestly I think your best bet is not to preorder. Half the time you will get it faster if you just wait for them to land and then order from a store that has them in stock. Just my 2 cents.

I think they have spent more time on their bullschit blog and videos then they have making the mod and getting it into consumers hands.
Meh, I'm impressed a bunch of kids actually got their stuff together and are manufacturing their own mod overseas. I pre-ordered knowing full well there would be delays.

I was looking at this months ago and there was a lot of buzz and they were busy on social media and it all sounded great and that's when I lost interest I know it sounds stupid but I just got a gut feeling (if it sounds too go to be true it usually is) this wasn't going to be all it was being made out to be as quick as we were getting told. Despite that I'm not happy this seems to be going bad as I know a couple of people who still have them on pre order and are determined to hold out and I do think it will happen I'm just not sure the final product will be everything it once seemed it would be. I really hope for everyone that showed faith in these guys you get your mod and it's perfectly working and problem free I hope that's why they are missing deadlines as people's faith needs reward these days.
I'm hoping everything comes together for me to gift one of these to myself for Christmas.
I think they are behind in the grand scheme of things. Look at everything that has came out while everyone has waited countless DNA 200 devices Vaporshark, Lavabox, VT200, Jaybo/Wisemec will be out soon, Yihi will soon have their new device out. At first one of the chips, the SX350J was one of their chips they were offering with the DNA200. By the time this thing comes out we will have a SX350J V2 out and probably Sigelei's new 200 watt offering and Innokin's TC mod.

I have a pre order and I'm happy to wait. It's coming soon. They underestimated what it would take to get this mod out and they've had a few hiccups.
Doesn't really matter what has come out since this was first announced this is the first mod that you can change chips/boards easily and not have to buy a whole new mod and know one else is doing that. If the concept works it should be simple to keep up with chip technology and that's what sold it to me.

I backed out of my Whiteout pre-order last month. Far too many delays. For a group based out of SF, how could they not have any Chinese friends to inform them of the week-long National Day holiday? And what is with the inability to take down the website pre-order notification which effectively ended in late September? Went with a Boxer 133W and could not have been any more satisfied. However, if their Ares OS lives up to the hype, I may revisit their products in the future.
I think this really shows the difference between having a great idea and actually bring a product to market. They are learning I guess but they have made a few serious mistakes with expectation management. I too like the look of the Ares but will wait for something to actually materialise. Good luck to them though!!!
Just dropping a line even though I fell off this bus sometime ago. Has anyone preordered via Smogdistro and do not know the current state of things with him?
