they caps de-restrict the airflow nicely and also look very cool, i have a single fusion clapton at 0.13 in my MX with a chuff that obviously opens up all the holes both sides and it just about perfect for me, i like lots of air

Huh its says 50$ for me maybe its a location thing, although it does say to contact them for discount code.
The first one you linked looks real nice, when you get it pop that sucker open and let me know how easy/hard/impossible it would be to convert it to an 8v box. If its an easy modification i might have to pick one up.
If its to much work, ill just make one to go with my raptor, i just wouldn't know where to source a mechanical switch.

hahaa dont worry JD i'm shaking a fist at myself and sent myself to the naughty step for buying unregulated parts to make my own then this mod comes up on FT. BUT to look on the brightside atleast we/i have a headstart on parts for a dual parallel or triple 26650 hehe the world is our oyster AND the FT mod is totally mechanical, it would be rude to pass up on the buy..

i've been quite good though! there have been loads of new attys come up for sale that are variations on present design's that i have said No to!

The only atty i'm waiting on to arrive now is a 26650 doge or they call it 'cali' at FT.. looks ideal with the big adjustable air slots

Hi fellow cloud maker you can open a photobucket account,
then drag photo's from your desktop to the upload box in photobucket,
once theyve uploaded if you click a photo you will see to the right of the photo there are 4 Links,
hover over the Link Box with the IMG next to it and your cursor changes to a hand with pointed finger,
now you can click on the link which will copy it.
then just come here to open a message box and paste that link, job done

yeah sure bruv post some pics if you can, funny enuff my net is being really slow atm, is it a single or dual braided you have?

FT have 4 dif versions of the box mod if you didnt know you can click on the arrow next to the box where the price is and you get a dropdown menu i think two have rounder corners, bigger magnets on door and also the 510 on some are silver plated copper.. oh and also some have copper batt contacts and some with silver plated, you'll just have to take a look.
And i'm sure there will be a 1:1 clone along soon also...

I still have a 1590G in anodized black sitting here that's totally unmolested. SO FAR hehehehe. I haven't got any relay contacts and other needed parts for a mechanical button yet, but I'll start drilling for/installing magnets and making the battery contacts soon. It'll have a top button and be 8V. The MutationXv2 in black will go on it. It'll be my cloud rig and all my other gear will go toward the pursuit of flavor. I still say mechs make clouds better than regulated mods do... Just rebuilt my MXv1 on my 18650 stingray X with 25ga centered parallels @ 0.145 ohm. 5 wraps (not 5.5) around 1/8". It chucks pretty good.

Alright #cloudporn, anyone else dumping straight VG in there? Cause sometimes I do. Most of my flavors are getting old, studying DIY, but those unflavored clouds are fun from time to time.
