Varitube.com or ebay. Also fat daddy has a short v3, maybe it also fits the tight space in the mini.
I have not tried this so take from it what you will. I was thinking about changing mine to some I have that are stronger and decided to use a soldering iron to heat the magnet, which would heat the adhesive holding them in place. Once the adhesive was sufficiently softened, I was going to use an Exacto blade or a sharp pick to lever them out. I don't think there'd be enough magnetic strength, but you could try using another strong magnet to pull it free.Does anyone know how to remove the existing door magnets?
The whole Cloupor Mini melting issue was, as far as I can tell, confined to a few units from a particular early run (VIP [HASHTAG]#0002xxx[/HASHTAG] IIRC). Since then- and despite anecdotal "evidence" to the contrary- there have been no more problems w/the Mini than any other Chinese-sourced mod. It has proven to be a good, reliable mod that will give you a lot of bang for the buck.
FWIW I do not use the onboard charger on ANY device I own, including the Mini. Not because I'm afraid of a problem but because I swap out the low battery for a fresh one to keep vaping.
QFT. Only I use the onboard charging port, I swap out the entire mini for another mini. Lol
I came to realize that the issues I am have with the door being loose are down to the design, not the strength of the magnets. Magnets are will resist longitudinal forces well, but a weak at resisting lateral forces. The door is not blocked at the bottom, and this shearing action not well resisted leading to clickety clack. In my opinion there is no need to be able to slide the door off. Lifting it off is sufficient and the design of many other magnetic door mods.
I added another three neodymium magnets which has helped, but I'm done trying to remedy this design flaw.
Next mission is to source a shorter 510 screw so all my attys fit flush.
I like this device and use it everyday, but I wouldn't buy another and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
