If anyone has both a Cloupor Mini and a VaporShark dna 20/30, would you mind posting a picture for a size comparison? I'm interested in getting one of these but the form factor has to be pretty small.

Here's a view from the top comparing the two. Both the same height, the VS is a bit wider.

Just to give you another example of form factor, it's shorter than an Aspire nautilus (with stock drip tip) even if you exclude the nautilus 510 post, it's just a bit less than twice as wide, and of course, it's almost exactly the same depth.

Has anybody who ordered from Elev8 Vape heard anything yet ?

I ordered on 1/8 and showed "in Stock" I have called many times and e-mailed with 0 Response...getting worried now.

My payment is just sitting there in my bank statement uncleared.

I guess they are a Registered Supplier on here, so I found this in one of his posts:

Our website is: Elev8 Vape
You can reach us at: info@elev8vape.com
Or at: 917-378-0034 (12PM-8PM everyday!)

I don't know if the number is current, but I will call today and find out & update.

I can take one when mine comes in next week.

They're not very good with e-mail responses but they're not a sketchy company if that's what you're worried about. I've ordered from them before w/o issue.

The mini is a bit higher and a bit slimmer compared to the VS DNA not much in it with the shark skin on. The rDNA is massive compared to both ;)

Just a quick question. I was using older vtc4 batteries and when I put them in this is how my battery icon looks. Just got my Samsung 2500 batteries in charged them up and battery icon is still not looking like it is full. Anyway question is. Does your icon fill all the way up or is what I'm seeing what you all are seeing as well?

Mine fills all the way up when it says "battery fully charged", but after one or two hits it shaves off the top of the display, using either an LG HE4 or HE2. So, that small gap in your picture could be anything from 0.01% drained to 10% drained. Near as I can tell, it reads in 10% increments all the way down to empty, and ticks the indicator down from the top of that 10% band.

So it's pessimistic, which I'd prefer to optimistic. :)

Though on ALL of these regulated mods, I'd much rather see a regular percentage displayed in numerics rather than a "fuzzy" graphic.

It is a bit of a difficult challenge for the chip makers to make the indicator accurate beyond knowing when it's fully charged and when it's too low to fire, since these things accept a wide range of capacities, have to deal with wear from charge cycles, and a wildly varying rate of discharge based on the user. Hell, even modern smartphones with tons of processing power and (generally) known battery sizes have a hard time being accurate beyond "full and too low to run".

I appreciate the reply. Wasn't sure if it was something for me to worry about. When I ordered my istick one of the reasons was the battery life everyone was raving about. I only got 8 hrs max most the time running at about 8 to 9 watts avg. Everyone else was stating days. Just don't want to feel like I got the short end of the stick again no pun intended.
Hoping my new batteries perform better than my older sonys cuz I was draining those faster than I anticipated.

Well some of that is about wrong.

Full Battery - Any Mah rating - 4.2 volts
Discharged Battery - (manufacturer set) 2.8v, 3.2v, 3.6v,etc. - According to Manufactures decision for best operation of the Device.

Interesting. Just for the heck of it I threw the USB charger on the mini instead of using the luc4 and charging batteries by themselves and it actually raised the battery icon level just a tad bit higher. Luc4 showing charged at 4.2 volts as in previous pic but most definitely a higher percentage level shown on icon with USB cable.

Yep. it would appear so..... "Order Status: Awaiting Fulfillment" Houston is not a happy camper, they didn't reply to my email either.

However the pre order I had with VaporTekUSA has a label created for shipment.

Yeah, I'm starting to get that feelin' here...I'm giving it until tomorrow for them to at least get a tracking number out. Three business days (by EOD tomorrow) is more than enough time to get a shipping label printed and ready for boxing a supposedly "In Stock" item.
