BTW, I'm about 75 miles north of you. :)

Croak I keep turning around to see you ?? Now you say your 75 miles north ? I do come up your way to see kids and grand kids at Plant City . And other K&GK'S in Clermont Fla. I did rig up the Cloupor pouch that came in the box. She will try that next time she is working in the garden.

That's not really customer service, that's fraud prevention. Preventing consumer fraud via Paypal and credit card disputes. A secondary effect is that the non-fraudulent consumer gets more assurance that the package shipped as it winds its way slowly (and often silently) through the Chinese and US postal services.

I used to buy from FT a lot until my last 3 orders. Got all the pics of the packages too. They used to take 6-11 days to get to me. The last 3 took over a month with the last one taking a month and a half and it came broken and they would not send another. I had to dispute it with PayPal to get my money back.

I ordered the Cloupor Mini from GearBest on March 30. Waiting for the shipping progress to move,

02-Apr-2015 02:25 PM Departed Warehouse to Sort Facility.
02-Apr-2015 06:08 PM Shipment picked up.
03-Apr-2015 02:25 PM Departed Sort Facility to UNITED STATES

i just have to plug fastech here. they sent an email with a pic of my packaged order (CP mini) and informed me it was shipped. i've dealt with china for many years as a laser hobbyist and never received this level of cs. only took them 2 days to ship too.. for free.

I ordered replacement glass for protank 2's and they were shipped on 3/13 . I too got the picture of the package. I haven't yet received it. I found you have to purchase a tracking number. My second mini came from Gearbest and came in about 3 weeks if I recall. Still for the price not too bad.

Flapstick please post the picture of pouch. My wife loves to hang her vape around her neck. I think she does that so she won't set it down and forget where it is. She uses PT 2's with a silicone circle around tank that attaches to a lanyard . At home she just sets on the table. I'm trying to come up with something better but just haven't yet........

My good man (and wife :D ), as I stated, there is no pouch yet. It's a work in progress. But anyway, here's a pic of what the hell is right now... :)

So I'll need some sort of a back plate to which the belt clip will be attached - that's the main challenge. I'd like it to be stainless steel and no more than 2 mm thick - pretty hard to find where I live.

And then two SS screws (another hard-to-get item) with extra-large heads (even harder), of around Ø/metric 3-4 mm (harder still). The tap borer will be the easiest part.

To simply hang the pouch on one's neck would be an awful lot easier, in principle, but the device itself is rather too heavy for that - I know I'd pass. Therefore the belt clip solution. :)

There's very little clearance inside that case on the opposite side of the battery door, especially on the battery side. You'd almost have to run the screw from the inside out, and even then countersink the hole inside to get the battery to still fit (or possibly grind away some of the battery tray material).

I tore mine down completely to install a Varitube 510 a couple weeks ago, and trust me, it's tight in there, I had to re-route wiring and break out the Dremel to get clearance for the new connector's locking nut and slightly longer length.
