On an Evolv dna 30, the max input is 12a and output is 10a.

Anybody see's a great deal on 18650's please post. I haven't yet ordered. There will be lots of time since FT isn't know as a super fast shipper. I even think there name should be SlowTech !!

Fine for what you just bought, not so much for unregulated, higher draw, etc.

There are a .... load of counterfeit batteries for sale. The batteries I sited earlier ARE AUTHENTIC. Let the buyer beware of deals that sound too good to be true.

The point I was trying to make is that the DNA 30 is a 30w board, like in the Cloupor Mini. The Evolv board takes 12a from the battery to put out 10a to the 510. If you use a lower amp battery, you either won't get the wattage you're set to or you'll damage the battery on lesser boards. I doubt the Cloupor chip is better than the Evolv chip so I would assume it would reset or burn out or damage the battery. Why take the risk when known good batteries cost the same or less?

You are looking at what will be supplied to the atomizer, not what will be drained from the battery. I doubt that you will get close to 2900mah at 30 watts.

Play around with the battery voltage and see what happens. This doesn't factor in voltage sag under load.
