You could just remove the ones off the mini or get some more of the same, mounting the switches might be tricky use 3d printed cradle or some glue yikes!;)
I thought exactly the same i would want to keep the actuators same as the Zero clone why most havent reused the nice switch board and steel machined actuators those hana switches have there place but time to think out side the box.;)

ill post a pic of it when i get home, but i took old an old circuit board, drilled some holes wired/soldered and installed some small tactiles on the boards to match approx height and depth of the cloupor board. epoxied the assembly in place so the mini buttons were perfectly aligned. probably best shown with a picture...but i hope this sort of illustrates.

to keep the screen aligned, the mini board has a plastic screen plate holding the screen in place, i did a dry fit test of an old dna20 board using that plastic piece to hold and align the screen and it seems like itll help.

im also doing away with the onboard charger, id rather have the extra room (very little to begin with) than worry about charging an 18650 at 500mah. carry an extra battery if needed.

How do you guys think this will stack up vs the istick 50w. I'm debating ordering this for $30 from gearbest or getting in on a co-op on the istick 50w for $40.

How is battery life on these things with the single 18650 battery vaping at roughly 15-25 watts?

Depends
Can you live with 30w or will yo eventually want 50w?
Do you only want one Mod/choice or do you like having a selection?:D

Smaller and user replaceable battery. I think it looks better than the Istick too. After owning an Istick and taking a few of them apart, I wouldn't buy another one or could I recommend them to anyone.

I just got mine yesterday but I've gone thru about 6ml of juice on a KF v4 with a battery (LG HE2 2500mah), vaping at 12w. The KF v4 does use more juice than my KFL+. It addresses everything wrong with the Istick 20w.

Found a video of the finished mod. The buttons are backwards (up is down, and down is up) and the screen is a little crooked but well done.

jmarkus - How did you keep the switches? They press a switch on a logic board.

Using it for 24 hrs now, the delay isn't as intrusive as I thought it'd be but still annoying.

Here's hoping that dead Minis show up on Elev8's website soon for a few bucks. A DNA 40 Mini would be really nice...

Because of the orientation, we'll need a new printed cradle to aid mounting the chipset/screen.

Mine showed up yesterday, and I'm really liking it. I went in knowing the drawbacks according to PBusardo, and so far he's spot-on. The delay when the unit shuts down is not a major annoyance for me, but I really would like a spring-loaded 510 pin. The box works great with my KFL+, Kayfun V4, Aerotanks, and IGO-W, ran it at resistances from 0.7-2.0 ohms and 8-15 watts so far, and I'm very happy with the performance. Got a day's work out of a single 2000 mAh battery, with good regulation and solid production. We'll see if any of the issues others have been noting with resets and such pop up, but for now this is my new workhorse. Thumbs-up!

I'm a one mod type of guy... Had my Zmax for the past year and I'm getting bored with it, also 22mm tanks look bad on it and the fire button sometimes doesn't fire. I think 30w is more than enough for me, but what's drawing me to the istick 50w is that it essentially has 2 18650 batteries installed so longer life between charges. I'm also not one to carry around extra batteries, so the fact that the istick has non-removable batteries is a non issue as well. Also, I prefer the look of the istick 50w and the way 22mm tanks look on it, but on the other hand, I like the smaller size of the cloupor mini more, *sigh*.

I'm horrible at making decisions, lol... It's hard finding anything negative about the cloupor, and they are both roughly the same price with me getting the istick from a co-op, but the difference is that I can order the cloupor now, but with the istick, I have to wait until after Chinese new year

I have the Cloupor and really like it so far. I also have the 50 watt istick on pre-order. My suggestion would be get both. Neither is overly expensive. I am slowly building up my mod arsenal in case the government decides to heavily tax these items. That is another reason I like a replaceable battery mod. I can let it set for months at a time, pop a battery in, and I'm good to go.

I finally got my cloupor mini and damn, it's so small!!! I like its size, I'm loving it already!

I also noticed that the ohms reading is of by .05ohms cause in May provari it's reading is 1.4 and in mini its 1.35. the back cover sits perfectly, but there's a little bit of rattle on the buttons but not a big deal.

just a quick question to you guys, can I use my AW 18650? I'm running my mini to 12 watts only and 1.4ohms. thanks in advanced guys!

Does the Provari read one or two decimals? If the former, then 1.35 ohms might actually be correct. On a one decimal display everything between 1.35 and 1.44 should read as 1.4.

Ok guys. Convince me or stop me.

I'm so tempted to pull the trigger on a Cloupor mini but I know as soon as I do something better will come out. Just like my iStick 20w. As soon as I ordered it they started accepting pre-orders for the iStick 30w. I don't need 50w so the 30w would be perfect for what I want. Floating 510, sub ohm and same size as the 20w give or take 2mm. The Cloupor has one feature over the iStick I really like though. The replaceable battery. That's a great feature for on the go. And for $30 free shipping......
