I can't imagine how long a 2900mah battery will last. I've been using 2 CGR18650CH 2250mah batteries but they are from June 2013. They are getting old.

I use that battery and a Panasonic NCR18650BD (3200mah) in regular rotation inside my CPmini. Usually setting somewhere +or- 20w and I'm getting pretty darn excellent longevity between cycles, 1.5 - 2 days depending on usage and wattage setting.

Kinda like the Gearbest design better, with that top portion helping keep the sleeve on and protecting that corner as well. The Gearbest logo will come off with a little fingernail work, and it looks like a clone of the "official" Cloupor sleeve other than that.

Also not a fan of that molding seam on the FT version.

It also amuses me that both saw fit to leave a hole for the battery terminal tab mount on the underside. :)

Maybe that also allows in air. I can't see me buying a sillycone because it would be a pain to change batteries. My wife would love have some way to hook up a lanyard to her mini. When out and about she likes to have around her neck........:(

I won a Cloupor Mini from a Reddit giveaway about a month ago. I'm loving this thing. No issues so far, and it passes Cloupor's test to see it has a bad chip. Paired with the Subtank Mini, this is easily my favorite setup in the almost 3 years I've been vaping.

For $1.46 or whatever it was on sale from gearbest, I took a chance and ordered three of them---black, red, and gray---one for each of my Minis.

If the silicon cases are difficult to slip on and off, however, I'll end up not using them, because the ease and speed of swapping out batteries is my favorite feature of the Mini. My iPV Minis and Kanger KBOXes are pretty good with their threaded caps, but the Cloupor Mini's magnet-secured door and fabric pull wins the prize for no-hassle, quick-n-EZ battery swaps. It even turns itself on after a new battery is installed.

I'm only using the cover when I take it out and about- protection against a drop onto cement, etc. At home, no need for it.

That makes sense. How hard is it to take off the cover ? I have the silicone covers on my key fobs and It's very hard to put on . You really have to stretch to get it on the fob. I never take it off unless the battery goes bad, and that is every three years or so..........:2cool:

That's why I like the Gearbest/Cloupor version over the FT version, it has that lip that goes over the top that will also act as a good grab point to quickly peel the cover off, like shucking an ear of corn.

You make a good point, thing is I don't have it yet to know how hard it is to doff and don. One the one hand I want it to fit well, but on the other that might make it harder to use. We'll see....

The FT version of the sleeve is godawful.

Way worse than anything I would do in my garage. I bought only two GB sleeves (black and white, call me conservative :) ) - but I saw several nicer looking ones on AliBaba. I am also working on a leather pouch with belt clip - got the leather, got the clip; lacking a metal plate, a tap borer and some nice screws to attach the clip. I'll post pictures when I'm done.

Flapstick please post the picture of pouch. My wife loves to hang her vape around her neck. I think she does that so she won't set it down and forget where it is. She uses PT 2's with a silicone circle around tank that attaches to a lanyard . At home she just sets on the table. I'm trying to come up with something better but just haven't yet........

Those are really kool. Not sure it's what she wants. All the Indians here in Florida are working at the casinos and not making that neat stuff ....

I hear ya. But maybe they should get more into vaping products, since they turn a lot of revenue on regular tobacco. Heck, it might end up one day that buying juice on the res is the only way to get it, if state lawmakers keep their crap up.

BTW, I'm about 75 miles north of you. :)
