After going through several box mods (some still around...some died...some returned...) I decided to get my Cloupor mini too. I brushed away all the thoughts about burning houses/cars/offices (my in laws residence was coming through m mind sometimes too ) and just simply ordered one to replace my defect Gatling 30w.
I have to say I'm a happy camper for now at least. Size and 18650 with a magnetic door is awesome

Yes, Cloupor remains the .... of many jokes and much derision on all the vaping forums, and the Mini has taken a considerable amount of flak for those defective units in the first wave. For the bulk of us on this thread, however, the Mini has been a reliable performer, whose diminutive size, solid build quality, and convenience (the magnet-secured battery door makes battery swaps quick and easy) outweigh the downsides, specifically the 0.8 second firing delay when the display awakens from sleep and a screw-adjustable pin rather than a spring-loaded, floating pin on the 510 connection. The fact that the Mini can be purchased from various Chinese vendor sites for less than $30 shipped certainly sweetens the deal.

I believe that adjustable 510 is better than spring

There it is right in the middle.

I want to keep to the standard that the Istick set. The c mini is the closest and the Kamry 30w V2 is next.

Nice Find!!! (below in mm)

iStick-20W...21 X 32.8 X 75

Clouper Mini...22 X 36 X 77.5

Kamry 30w V2...21 X 35.5 X 81.5

Heatvape Defender...23 X 35 X 86

I have two minis and very much like the one with no turn on delay. The one with the long wake up delay is a bit annoying but still in daily rotation.

Are there 2 different models of the Clouper Mini?

Or...is it just the "luck of the draw" whether one gets a "no delay" vs. a "long delay" one???

Tell me this isnt ridiculous, I ordered my second Clouper from Fast Tech on April 24th. It had to ship from China and they was pretty quick about it. I received a notice that on May 1st it cleared processing in Chicago so it was already state side in no time at all. And then it took until today for our USPS to deliver it to my home in Louisiana. 16 days for our USPS. I could of swore they stopped using actual horses a long time ago to deliver the mail.

I think the 4th one is the Clouper Mini (I don't have one yet).

Is the 3rd one the Kamry 30w V2???

3rd is not a Hana clone nor a Kamry either. Not the way I look at it at least.
It's a DIY custom made DNA 30 (evolv chip) with a FDV 510. Red and green charging lights added too.

4th is a Cloupor mini.

Hey ARHS...over in the Heatvape Defender thread I asked you how the Defender and the 30W-iStick compared when it came to "hand comfort" and weight.

You said:
Both comfy I would say. Defender a bit heavier but not by much.
Defender has a better "feel" in hand but iStick is a bit smaller.

What if you threw the Clouper Mini into the hand-comfort/weight comparison???

Cloupor mini is heavier than defender and a bit more square but edges rounded so it doesn't feel bad.
It never felt uncomfortable at any time.
Pin is not spring loaded but i find it better. I never had an adjustable pin fail on me. A spring loaded one has!

I prefer it from the other two if I had to choose because they Can't beat magnet door and 18650.

Same here. While spring-loaded positive pins are convenient, they're not always reliable. I've had several fail. By contrast, adjustable pins are a bit of a pain at times, but they seem to insure good contact. I wish the Cloupor adjustable pin (screw) were reverse threaded, but it works, and I can live with it as-is.
