Co-Op Interest for L-Rider Lavatubes for $30 each unit!!!

I'm definitely interested in two of the minis,4 batteries if possible,and 2 extention caps......and I've seen the lavatube in black,silver,and red on the volcano site.
If its possible I'd prefer the silver so metal tanks will look better on them.

For $20, I'm very interested in 2 minis w/extension, and two 18650s. Will this price be for the kit w/batteries, charger, etc. or just the tube and electronics? This will be my first mod, so I need all the accessories. Thank you Shek for all your hard work!! You're doing a great job!!

I've read the first 3 and last 3 pages of this thread (I don't have time to read 70 pages!!)

I would be in for 2 minis, one extention cap, 4 18350 batts ( if they are good batts, otherwise I can buy the batts separately myself) and one charger (that can do 18350 and 18650, again I can buy the charger elsewhere if that's an issue)

All this predicated on having in hand NLT early April (they are b-day gifts)

I will subscribe to this thread and keep up from now on.

This is going to be an unusually long process (approx 30 days total; 2/10/12) due to the complexities of the current situation with L-Rider and the manufacturing of newer versions of the LT and possible custom upgrades.

The organization of the actual coop could take considerably longer (beyond the inital 30 days of this interest thread), in part, due to the interest level and the logistics involved.

Yes, please make sure that you've read through the information provided so that you're able to make an informed decision when the time comes.

Really? That's odd.

To get to that "link", click on my user name which will bring you into my profile page.

Look underneath my profile picture and click on "find latest posts", and that'll bring up all of my thread posts.

But you may want to start from the beginning where I opened this thread and then work your way backwards through the pages....so you can following along as if in real time.

Think you need to clarify what KIND of 18650 before posting your comment.

All of the original size LT kits come equipped with 18650 batteries.

The LT also has a protection circuit built right into the regulator, so it can handle unprotected 18650's OR high drain IMR's.

But I haven't verified yet if 18650 protected cells will fit though.

And how many people in here think that an LT isn't worth $20?

Cuz that's what we're ALL looking at spending to own one.....I just got the news this morning.

We are being allowed to order just the LT, for a measly $20 each....NO LIMIT! I can order 1 or any many as my heart desires. Batteries are $2.50 each....through L-Rider.

Just an update....

I've asked L-Rider for references, but they've yet to respond.

Chinese new year starts on the 23rd, so there could be a delay period as their holidays are significantly longer than ours.

I've also spoken with several CEO's with various vendors, but none are willing to offer specifics pertaining to their satisfaction or dissatisfaction in the areas of question. I just receive a general response....no details. No real help there so far.

I've also not received any additional supplier responses for spreadsheets, so it may come down to just 2 choices....L-Rider or Uniq. So we may have to take a vote when this thread is complete, as to which one to go with?

But in either case, and I cannot reiterate this fact enough....THERE'S A RISK no matter which way you decide.

But I'll do my best to give everyone the most facts that I'm able to obtain before you make your decisions.

Please keep an eye out on this thread to see when the actual coop thread will be posted.

They're building the extension for the mini!!

But I don't have a completion date yet....

Their new year holiday runs 10 days, but I may still be able to communicate with my contact during that time.

You can automaticly go to the first post after the last one you read.

Next to the post title in the forum is a little blue circle with 2 little arrows pointing down. Click on that and it will take you to your first unread post. Its alot easier than trying to remember what page your on or creating unneccassary post to find your place.

So, if I understand this correctly, none of these are kits. They are just the LT or LT-mini. Batteries are optional.

In that case, I am still interested in 2 LT and 2 LT-mini, but I will have to ask Salem about getting batteries. She knows best.

Kudos for doing all that work, Sonic. But until negotiations are complete, it won't matter how many times people change their mind about what they want, there's nothing that's been set-in-stone yet.

So until there is, your 'interest' is all that should be counted.

I've stated it multiple times and so has Sonic everytime he posted an update, but yet people still pop into the middle of this coop interest thread asking questions that have been answered many times over.

So for those of you that have asked questions that 'seemingly' have gone unanswered....believe me, they've been answered. It just gets old for everyone in here to have to repeat themselves, when EVERYONE should start on page 1 and start reading.....
