FYI....AW does NOT make a flat-top IMR 18650!!
So if you buy one or acquire one and it has a flat-top, is an IMR high drain and has the AW label.....it's a FAKE.

There's also a blog on Volcano's website (which I have read myself, but I'm having difficulties finding right now) that talks about the fake batteries they purchased and are recalling them. But not because they're bad batteries, only because they're not authentic.
They're also not selling them any longer as AW confirmed that they were fakes.
So what batts are we talking about for this co-op should it come about lao ban (boss)?

That's more than the 2.50 price quoted earlier. I'm confused. Higher MAH on these?
At the moment, because I haven't finished negotiations, I don't know what the chemistry or maH capacity "actually' is for the 18650's that L-Rider sells for $2.50
The Tenergy's are ultimately superior quality cells than China. China wouldn't be able to hold a candle to Tenergy's power no matter WHAT they are!
You're not obligated to buy the batteries from L-Rider, it's just an option.

hmmm, well, not that you're taking orders here... but might as well 'me too' on the wagon... i'll take 3 of the 18650 models, won't need batteries though, just grabbed the last one of the ebay 4 packs above.

That AW battery is a fake, notice the flat-top?
count me in for 1, 18650 model (as long as all of the electronics inside are included)
But didn't someone say with it being flat top you couldn't close the top down all the way on the big ones? If so does the mini have the tab. I would prefer to use the AW IMR batteries so this makes a difference to me.
They are at the Honolulu Vapor Cafe. I had a huge go around with two young arrogant girls about this yesterday. I received an email from Volcano stating they would refund in full but the girls would only exchange for 2 of the same battery. I told her those are still the fakes, after about 5 minutes of heated discussion she opens a drawer and says "these are genuine but I'm not supposed to sell them yet."
Can 2600mAh be used in the LT? The ones I have are 1600mAh.
I purchased 2 AW IMR 18650 3.7V 1600mAh from RTDVapors which don't have a flat top, I have no problem with my cap screwing down all the way.
