I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this if not please move it. I was wondering if i could find out the names of the diffrent coil builds that yall use. I wanted to know so i could youtube them and maybe learn how to make them, but i dont know any names other than micro and nano. Thanks for your help.

I personally like nano's and micro's for most applications involving dual coils. For a single coil builds, I like the weird ones like the tricro coil and the diamond coil. All I use is 28g kanthal a1 for the most part. I have played with .5mm and .8mm kanthal and I like the flavor production but it is springy and harder to work with. If you have the patience and wire make a tinman coil. If you are building in a genesis style tank use a 1/8 inch drill bit to make a big mini coil.

Watched a video on the diamond coil yesterday. That looks interesting may have to try it when I get some different kanthal. All the builds were done with 28 and all I have right now is 32. I tried to take my 32 and braid it yesterday but I guess that makes a sub ohm cause my provari could not make it fire.

I don't know much about the provari. Will it check the ohms? I wouldn't attemt to fire anything without checking ohms. By braiding do you mean twisting two together or actually braiding three? I don't believe thats been done before. Lol either way ohms are half with 2 wires. More wire = less resistance.
