I'll get one to try from another vendor, and I think the work station also. I need something new to play with. :)
well just to tempt you further.....have you seen this one? Russ did a video on it and I love it! I have incredibly limited space, all my stuff is basically in a corner of a room, so this would be fantastic for me, and also for when I go to my son's. It's definitely on my wishlist

$16.99 w/ free shipping, not a bad deal. Wanted the blue, but oh well. :)
I also went back to ebay for the building station, but in reading further, found that it's not for the v3. :( Oh well, I can use some wood and make my own. :)

oh kewl, yeah I really wanted the blue one and was so happy that was the one I got from Russ's giveaway. Any of them would have tickled me of course, but I really wanted the blue. Well, you're just not having good luck today with things, sorry for that.

Been wondering for awhile, so gonna ask about your username. Is it pronounced O.P.L. holik or opal holik, or something else? lol

Pronounced opalholick :) Comes from my love of fire opals, which I did some mining for in the Mojave desert in So. Cal. years ago.

The little blue screwdrivers work fine for me. I am not doing fancy coils, though. Prolly always use the little blue screwdriver. (All hail the Little Blue Screwdriver!)
I love my little blue screw driver . Oh and it fits in my chalice tin that I carry my rebuidable supplies in . I bet I have 1000 or more of them little blue drivers set for life

@Debadoo, I've seen people mention not needing to wind backwards (including @super_X_drifter) but I find it useful for my Odins seeing that the center post sits lower than the negatives. This way I don't have to move my coil around as much since the center leg comes from below.

My coil master will be here later this afternoon, so will see how I like this one. I have some two strand twisted 30g Kanthal wire coils I want to try out, along with some 30g single strand coils to make. For the two strand twisted, would I use the inner or outer peg? After looking at the two strands, I'm guessing the inner.

Got it. So far I'm happy, I like this better than v2. Must be the bigger size, seems easier to use, getting some really nice coils off of it.
Now I just gotta figure out how to get twisted wire coils to be repeatable. Or maybe I should ask, what should you build for a 22mm rda using a single coil to get a decent vape, twisted 2 wire, or parallel? I did a twisted 30g coil for my Nuppin and it came out to 1.7Ω, this s/u I like, but haven't been able to duplicate it for some reason.

I received my V3 last night. I immediately wrapped a 2mm dual coil using 26g. Ohmed out at 0.5, which is where I like it for my RM8.

Tonight, I'm going to switch the 3mm rod to the outer screw hole and wrap a nice Clapton. Hoping to get 0.25 ohms out of it and go into vape euporia.

I made a piece of fused Clapton using a parallel 28g core and 36g Clapton. I wrapped the coil with the Coil Master v3 using the 3mm pole. Not only did it wrap a perfect 5 wrap coil, the CM straightens out any imperfections in the fused wire by straightening out the parallel wires. I'm very happy with the Coil Master.

Ok, so after using the Coilmaster v3 for a week, I'm officially retiring the Gizmo coil winder. I didn't think I'd be able to do that, as I loved the Gizmo, but this is just so much easier and quicker. On the gizmo I could get a little tighter wind on the mandrel than the Coilmaster, but that doesn't seem to make any difference to me.
So, now, what will the v4 be like? :)

I'm right with ya bro. I hope the V4 has a slightly wider and thicker screw that goes into the turner. it doesn't really work with very loosly twisted wire in its current iteration but another one I have from another company does cause it has a wider thicker screw.
