So, My initial epoxy mod worked well, but wasnt very pretty. The epoxy i used on version 1 set up in 5 minutes, and did not make for a very pretty product. I found some epoxy that had a 3-4 hour working life, and proceeded to make version 2. added a catch cup to keep juice from running into the batts, and built the epoxy up over the switch to prevent accidental pocket firing. the tenergy Lifep04 batts fit snug, and have never fallen out. I have dropped this mod many times, and the batteries have not come out, and no damage to the unit its self, because the epoxy is tough. The batts are easy enough to remove to charge, and the thing is small. the pics are showing it next to my watch and next to an 18ml bottle of boba's bounty for size reference. the batts are run in series for 6v vaping. overall this thing costs about 10-15 bucks to make not including the batteries and charger. Ive been using it for 2 months, every day, all day long. I have a darwin waiting for me at home, so its going to become my backup. anyone looking for a super compact, easy to make 6v mod, here it is.

the epoxy is made by a company called milliput... it has a consistency id say of a sticky modeling clay until it hardens. if you keep your hands damp, its not too bad to work with.

Milliput

they have lots of different colors, but i went with black, because i figured a tan would become discolored from handling. its really great stuff, has a 3 to 4 hour work life, so the molding was actually all done by hand, then sanded smooth. i bought a cheap wax carving set to help with shaping it, but only needed to use it a little bit. they have some tips on how to get a good finish on the milliput website.
