Mine is from fasttech. And is the same as the op "legit" battery cap, fire buton, mirror screen with no digits visible under the screen.. For your record the blurry screen is from a screen protector wich min do have and i removed. And the battery cap look like one "non legit" was pressed to hard. I have compared mine with another one from a friend from a usa vendor and is the same as mine.. Lets remember this is a chinese item and from time to time parts change.. They are already a few variation. Greemgreen on youtube got the first one from innokind directly with a fire button trnsaparent and better thredings then a second one with black button and diferent threding and some minor diference, pbusardo got his first with reversed +/- buttons and clear fire buton
Even the box, instruction manual etc and everithing in the package have the innoking logo and are exact as my friend SVD purchased at USA fro $70 plus shipping
Fasttech dont need to lie on that if they tell us is a clone for that price i would buy it anyway, so for that price no need to lie BTW when they have a clone they just told us or dont put any brand on the item.

I think it may be a good idea for the OP to change the name of the thread.
I've not dealt with Fasttech but this all seems unfair to me as they're obviously a good operation - first the implication they're selling counterfeit items and then "seconds" or "blems".
A prospective buyer could take a cursory look at the thread title and decide not to deal with Fasttech.
They haven't done anything to warrant this other than sell goods at a really competitive price.

My SVD express kit came from Stormy's. It has the thinner top cap, no holes at the bottom of the 510 connector, short beauty ring threading, the mirror screen, the opaque fire button, and the fat +/- surrounds. Mine appears to be a mix as well.
My FT SVD arrived today, been using it for the last hour. Vapes like a champ. I'm very happy I bought it now. 
Just got my SVD from FT. It's got a little of everything. Light almost clear fire button, mirrored screen, fine threads, 2 holes in top cap, and the buttons on the side rattle a bit. There is no play in the tube when tightened down.
My SVD arrived today, it looks more like the OP's "legit" SVD than the other one, whatever they have sent me it works perfectly and I'm very pleased with the bargain I got from FasTech, as I said earlier in this thread it is just variations in production and different part suppliers not being too fussy about being exactly in spec.
I got mine from FastTech and it has the same fire (grey) button as the 'legit' one... same small holes around the top of the device (air holes) and same mirror-like screen. However... the + - buttons are not flush with the device, there are no additional air holes when you remove the top part (where the threading is). I don't get a strange pulse with mine or a noise... SO I don't know. Personally, for the price, I don't really care if it's a knock-off as long as it's good. So far, I am very pleased with mine but I haven't had it for long.
I found some proof that innokin have diferent version, in the website you can clearly see the express kit photos have the big chrome ring under the removable top cap and bigger side butons,, the complete kit have the thin smaller ring under the removable top cap and flatenned side butons. So even in innokin website we will see some diference. Since the express kit came later i think the bigger ring are latest batch of production or just as simple as the express kit is diferent than the complete kit. Or made by diferent manufacturer

I think as some have stated that the differences are simply production date differences. I saw both the clear button version and the grey button version at the local vendor where I bought my SVD. The clear button however was ONLY in a display because as the vendor told me it was the first one he got from iTaste. All the rest of them he has gotten including his own personal use one has the grey button and other changes. Here are some photos of my SVD I purchased last week, and honestly this thing is a TANK just as most state very solid and works beautifully.
Agreed. They switched the sides of their + and - on the production model and also made the fire button black instead of more clear looking.
