For example joyetech uses those for their Delta II and Ego One heads. Here is a pic:

Please don't regard that 'continuous filament glass fibers' in the midlle

I like chimney coils, but wicking them with standard KGD pads is a hit and miss since it's so fluffy. Any idea where to get those?

Those bits lying there do not look like cotton fuzz.

They look like ceramic fiber shards. And I'm not concerned about anything large enough to see or poke me. It's what you can't see that's potentially a problem. And no one apparently is speaking to this issue. As no one was regarding Aspire's ceramic blanket strategy…I've spent going on two years researching the only synthetic I've found worth technically unlikely to add respirable decay into the vapor stream. For a good reason, the minimum particle size never gets there.

Why do we have to be the guinea pigs for every twist and tweak RoC foists upon us? Pay for it no less. And they don't even hand out the program at the door. An MSDS means nothing but identifying some as may.be considered contaminants, if that.

Just sayin'. Good luck.

:)

This thread is only about the outer layer. I've started a discussion about the 'Continuous filament glass fibers' a while ago: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...material-joyetech-delta-ii-ego-one-heads.html. It'd be nice if people would post there about the inner layer.

I've just received some Fiber Freaks (density #2). While it's easier to work with than KGD (still talking about chimney wicks) it's still much thicker than the roll shown above. How about manufacturing a thin layer density #3 Fiber Freaks folks?

@Moderators
could you please change title from 'compressed cotton strips' to "compressed cotton/cellulose strips"?
