Here's the thing, with SG they tolerate or go all out for things they don't like. Like walking around in your birthday suit at home or "unnatural sexual acts" which includes choking the chicken, spanking the monkey..etc. They can't get to you behind closed doors unless they have valid reason to, eg. neighbors noticed you burying a dead ...... in your backyard or something. So public = don't do it. Unless you have an invisible cloak. =)

Seriously, the sg government is run my utter .......s looking to make a quick buck from anything and everything. Now, e cigs are banned under the tobacco advertising act. A silver bullet,LT etc looks nothing like a tobacco product. I never refer to my mod as an ecig. It's a Personal vaper. I never say that there's nicotine.
Once again. TO HELL WITH P.A.P!!

Singapore:
The sale and import of electronic cigarettes, even for PERSONAL consumption, is illegal. According to Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan, electronic cigarettes were the industry’s attempt to attract new users and were marketed to appeal to younger customers, including women.

However in Singapore, there will be some modifications that will change the current anti-smoking laws. They want nothing to do with potential addictive products. Electronic cigarettes, nicotine chewing gum, tobacco gel and candy are all included as nicotine substitutes; therefore, Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan mentioned he will ‘ARM’ Singaporeans against these smoking alternatives.
