Because the performance from a good dripper blows away any tank on the planet.

Correct. I was never going to drip until a buddy of mine handed me his to try and I never looked back. I only drip at home but if you like flavor this is the best way to find everything lost in a tank system. Don't get me wrong, i own, like and use tanks but drippers produce insane flavor.

Well, what do you need for great flavor? You need the right wick, the right chamber, a good build and the right airflow. None of those things are exclusive to drippers. The one advantage to a dripper is a huge wick that you can soak in juice which really only lends to cloud chasing. Having that huge wick doesn't add to the flavor.

Well it is also the configuration of the coils and the shape of the dripper along with the airflow. I don't chance clouds or sub-ohm. I just started building a dragon coil and you can't fit one of those in any tank that I am aware of, maybe an RBA but I would have to see that to believe it.

This coil produces some of the densest most flavorful vapor I have ever had, no tank has ever come close.

Actually a lot of genny style tanks are built just like drippers as far as how much space you have to work with on the deck. Myself and I know of another member that have built dragon coils on our RSST's. I'll see if I still have a pic.

I use dripping RDAs, BF RDAs, and one tank RBA (Gus Estia) every day.

My kayfuns don't get daily use anymore, but I still fill one up once or twice a week. All my gennies are sitting in a drawer these days, but I never had a bad vape from any of them. Maybe I'll build one again, soon. Probably the ZAP since I appreciate big air flow nowadays. I have box mods, tube mods, regulated tubes, and one DNA box. Each setup has its ideal place in my day.

Variety is the spice of life vape!

@OP, are you still "Confused as to why anyone would use an RDA"? I'm sure you've seen plenty of our subjective answers here, so it's up to you to give a quality RDA a try and see if it's for you.

Enjoy the hunt :)

rather than getting into a tank/dripper flavor argument. i'm going to propose a different argument in regards to flavor. :)

mesh/ss rope/ceramic > cotton/silica in terms of flavor in the wick materials.

if you're going to cloud chase, might as well use a dripper with cotton. outside of that, i'm going to be using my genny with a microchamber. in terms of flavor, it is unbeatable. for those that build with cotton in a genny, you might as well use a kayfun. you're doing it wrong lol.

you guys make it sound like dripping is such an inconvenience.....

you know what is more inconvenient..... Carrying around a large 18650 mod (or equivalent) with a massive Kayfun tank on top!
Hanna/Kayfun guys... I'm looking at you!
Stop it, you make us look like weirdos!

small mod in hand with a short topper,THAT is convenience....
as long as you aren't vaping it like an addicted who had escaped from the clinic... you aren't dripping every 30 seconds.

small mod in hand, with 10ml bottle & spare battery in pocket.... THAT is all you need.

could we as vapers make an effort to not look like a bunch of junkies in public.... ...

Stingray X with Omega dripper.... both real.

a 10ml bottle and a spare 18650 battery fit in those battery cases.... i don't know if skinny jeans are your thing, but it shouldn't be that hard to find a pocket for it....

And yes.... if you think this is inconvenient.... then just remember the horror you used to go through to have to light a cigarette every ten minutes.... and having to pocket a full pack of cigs and a lighter.... THE HORROR!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, if you put down the mod every once in a while, you may actually look like a functioning member of society....

Sir, you seem distressed, this may help:

The problem with that statement is that up to a point, more vapour = more flavour.

A well built cotton setup will put out more vapour than a well built mesh setup even before you reach silly cloud chasing territory.

Oh no; not at all.

I meant using cotton on the genny not mesh; you could still put mesh going down then wrap cotton around the top, but the point is you can still drip on the cotton from the drip tip just like with any dripper; the top of the genny can be done up just like a dripper and you can drip on it ignoring the tank completely if you want.

I got into drippers at first merely as a means of sampling my DIY juices. I used to use debridged dripping atomizers for quite a while. But I got tired of having to either clean or replace them. I had to have 4 or 5 of them at hand, every time I wanted to test flavors at various combinations and percentages. My main means of just vaping had been genisis RBAs with ss mesh wicks for about 2 years. I've been making juice for about 3. A year or so ago I got the bright idea that getting a couple Igo Ls would make life easier for juice sampling. I could chnge wicks quickly and easily, and get what I felt would be an accurate representation of what the juice would taste like. My interest in dripping grew from there, as I found myself using my drippers more and more. Eventually I began experimenting with dual coil drippers, because I had been building some dual coil mesh gennies, and liked them. In my smoking days, I was a pipe and cigar smoker, as well as cigarettes; so I like a full, thick vape. I still use dual coil drippers and mesh gennies exclusively, depending where I am, and what I'm doing. When I'm home relaxing, I like my drippers. When I'm out and about, I like a mesh genny.
