So if I were to order a Vapor King from vapor4life.com, what all would I need to get started? The starter kit has a bunch of unnecessary extras it seems, which makes it rather expensive. For example, I only need a wall charger for charging.

If you get into this---there is no unnecessary extras. Believe, there isn't.
But still, I go with the basics until you find your favorite.

Hello Situation ..I am also very new to this .. and also spent hours reading reviews and everthing else I could before I decided

I got the vapor King and recieved it yeesterday I just ordered the 39.95 pcc travel kit with a extra battery and some extra cartomizers I am very impressed with the VK and have been testing it all day I have been smoking for 33 years at 2 packs plus a day Today I have smoked less then a half a pack I have never been able to do that before

I chose the VK because of the great reviews and it is only a 2 piece deal The final thing that made me choose the VK. Steve and I talked and I was alittle leary about the prices as this was my 1st e-cig..... Steve said that the biggest thing was to get me off analogs and he would take care of me When I got the package and opened it I was stunned to say the least He threw in a lot of extras So yeah it was well worth it and it is a great e-cig I plan to be off analogs in a few short days ...Sorry its a little long just wanted to share my experience with Vapor4Life

Good Luck
Tom

I don't know what e-cig to get, there are so many. I smoke Black Horse Mild or Marlboro Reds right now, about a pack and a half to two packs a day. Is there anything comparable? What should I get? I'm so tired of reading reviews and trying to figure out what and where to get it. I live in the USA. Help is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

I'm new here as well and you're post just echos my thoughts.

I've been reading this forum for three days and I'm still as confused as anyone.

I'd like to try a disposable e-cig just to see if it's something I want to try further. Anyone have any suggestions ?

Vapor King Extra Long Battery Manual w/ Green LED Our Price: $25.00
Vapor King Charger Our Price: $13.50
Vapor King Mboro Cartomizers (Box of 5) - 36mg Our Price: $12.50
Mboro Nobacoo Juice (5 ml) - Medium Our Price: $3.50

So I could get started for about $54.50 plus shipping if that battery really lasts all day like they say it does. Not a bad price I guess.

Is this the Vapor King too?
shop.nhaler.com/product.sc?productId=9&categoryId=6
Looks like everything I need if it is.

It is the same product yes. They don't have the manual batteries though, only automatic. And I have tried the cartomizers there and they aren't as flavorful and don't last as long. Steve is more hands on with the production of the items he sales.

Drew at Nhaler is a great guy and makes some very tasty liquids. I often use his High Voltage flavors to refill the cartomizers and I recommend his juice highly. The KR808D-1 though isn't up to the standards of the VaporKing because Steve has taken it to a whole new level. You have to try the extra long manual battery! Wow!

The extra longs take quite some time to charge, I would at least get a regular long battery to use while the extra long is charging. Dude, for 15 dollars more ($69.50) you get this:
NEW!!! VAPOR KING MANUAL KIT. Kit include 2 manual batteries, 1 manual passthrough, 1 USB charger, 1 Ultimate Wall Charger, and 5 Cartomizers.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO USE COMMENTS SECTION TO CUSOMIZE YOUR KIT WITH CARTOMIZER FLAVOR/STRENGTH, CHOICE OF COLORS ON CASES and BATTERIES
HAVE FUN VAPING, NOT SMOKING!!!!!!!!!!!

The passthrough ROCKS! Seriously! If you spend any time at all on your computer, you need this baby! ;) You can always get an extra long later, this kit will keep you going... And Steve always tosses in some tasty surprises with the kits too.

What are Cartomizers? 5 for $12.50, do you know how long each lasts?

Like JenJen said, prefilled and self-contained ejuice and atomizer in one, easy, screw on package.

However, I never got a full day out of one - more like 1/2 a day and I too was a pack a day smoker for 25+ years. You can refill and top off cartomizers and remember the price "includes" a new atomizer with each one.

As a comparison - my 801 atomizer costs $7 and lasts me almost 30 days. I vape 18mg ejuice at 180ml for 30 days at $0.34/ml == $61. If 1 cartomizer lasts you 1 day and you don't refill, that would put you at $75 for 30 days. Not that much off and I'm sure you'd want to try the ejuice refill/top off approach and would save more over the following months.

So dive in, try something, feel it out and don't be afraid to switch and try something else. You can always use 'older' models as backup and rotate to fit the mood, day, situation.

Have you tried Steves new carts? They last much longer then the old ones. I bought some of the old carts on clearance, and they are damn good, but don't last near as long as his new stuff.

Sounds like you want a short answer so here is my short answer:

1x Joye 510 Starter Kit
1x Bottle of Marlboro Juice 24mg

Order from www cignot com (midwest USA) or www awesomevapor com (Southeast USA)

Just price out both including shipping and see which is better for you. The Awesomevapor site will take returns if you don't like it. Not sure about the other sites. Awesomevapor also includes a sample size juice.

This is enough to get your started. In a few days you'll know if this works for you and can then think about how to make it better, and if there is anything else you want or need.

I do recommend getting a small bottle of juice to top off with. The carts will get weaker as you use them. A few drops and you're golden again.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm very happy with my current and future set up based on the large amount of information provided here at ECF.

I have no interest myself in cartomizers of any kind at this time.

I just meant if you haven't tried the new cartomizers, it is hardly fair for you to comment on them. I myself have no interest in having a screwdriver type device hanging from my mouth, nor do I want the hassle of cleaning, blowing out, dripping and constantly topping off carts, and based on large ammounts of information provided her at ECF, I am thrilled with V4L and the VaporKing.

Different strokes for different folks, eh? And I have always said for ease of use and consistant good taste and throat hits, it can't be beat. For those looking for ease of use instead of all that paraphanalia of the mods and such, the VaporKing is a good choice. Thats all I'm sayin. ;)

I took the plunge and ordered the second starter kit plus some juice. :)

This one:

Our Special Kit Includes: 2 Large batteries, 1 USB Battery Passthru, 1 Custom Carry case, 5 CARTOMIZERS, 1 USB battery charger, 1 wall charger

Thanks so much for the coupon code, it saved me over $7. The order total was $72.65

Can't wait to get it! Hope they ship fast! ;)
