So I'm about a pack a day smoker(secretly) I'm 19 but super crazy religious parents would about murder me if they knew I smoked. *sighs* But in this economy it's to expensive to move out sadly. I've heard about the electronic cigarettes a little bit and am really considering getting one. Does anyone know if stores sell them? I would order online but yet again crazy parents would read where it's from and kick me out. I swear my life is a huge drama fest sometimes :p.. Was looking at the classifieds but oh my I feel overwhelmed.. I typically smoke Marlboro Smooths(Menthols) and typically a pack a day. But I've heard that the electronic ones are so much safer and healthier for you... and cheaper.

So erm. Odd introduction eh?

Hi everyone!

welcome!

that is a dilemma for sure. for a starter i would cut to the good stuff, get a ego style ecig and some menthol juice. all can be found in the classifieds for pretty cheap. i would say you could start vaping for $50 or less.

there may be some respectable brick and mortar stores where you live, but that, well, depends on where you live lol

Maybe if you order online and have it shipped to a friends house? Or get yourself a PO Box so it doesn't come directly to the house. There are not many retail stores that are selling e-cigs right now. If you really want to try one, check out some of the gas stations. Often they will have the disposable ones for around $10.00. They aren't the best, but they will give you an idea of how they work. Good luck!

Well I'd like to spend around $100 for a starter kit... I'm in SW Florida near Sarasota if that helps. I've checked the tobacco shops and what not around here and no lucky. I know they would not be labeled E-Cigarette inside haha. That's like overly obvious but kinda worried it would ship and the company name would say something. I've been looking around and found something that I THINK is a good deal?

Volcano Fine Electronic Cigarette Deluxe Starter Kit
The Deluxe kit includes:
(1) Gift Box
(2) V-Batteries
(1) V-Pack
(1) Atomizer
(1) Wall Charger
(1) USB Charger
(25) Cartridges in the strength and flavor of your choosing!
$69.99
I will definitely check out the classifieds.I'm on the waiting list for a P.O Box where I live currently. Small town haha.

Personally, I hate cartridges. This is my favorite first pv:
Go to Liberty Flights
Get a Riva 510 lite bundle Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510
Throw in a couple of packs of Boge 2ohm 510 cartomizers Electronic Cigarette - Cartomizers - Boge Cartomizers

Click on the 20% off icon at the top of the page and the total cost will be about $45 without juice. Since you smoke a pack a day, add a couple of 24mg juice in your choice of flavors. $2.99 shipping and done. Don't know if it matters, but they take PayPal.

Awesome! Yeah I have my debit card/paypal so paying for it isn't an issue. The parent's who snoop at everything is -_-. Considering moving back into the barn LOL. I've looked at prices and all and i'm paying $65ish for a carton of cigarettes so it's pretty pricey. Even if I was only saving a couple dollars I think in the end it would be so much more worthwhile.

LOL, I've thought about moving into the Barn myself, but it's only because my horse lives in a freaking palace.

Rule of thumb for a pad smoker, about 30 mil of juice = 1 carton of smokes

Welcome! I hate to say it but if you smoke, your parents probably know or at least suspect that you smoke unless both of their noses fell off. I used to kid myself and think that when I was younger my parents didn't know. The older I get the more I see how crazy that was. It's pretty easy for a non-smoker to tell who smokes and who doesn't in one whiff or two.

That said, there's great advice above... Either get one used (will then ship in a plain box), get a PO Box, get a friend to order you one, or simply ask the seller to ship in a plain box. I'm sure they'd be happy to help.

+1 vote for the Liberty Flights Riva. Absolute best bang for the buck, IMO.

Welcome to ECF

Stay away from mall and gas station e cigs too many a newbe have been taken by them. You will not get a true impression of what a e cig can do for you.510 DISPOSABLE E-CIG KIT with Blue LED 9.99 says disposable but it come with a charger the vendor addad. Many say they get 100+ charges out of these batts. Contact a dealer, most here ship USPS priority shipping. Just a standard everyone uses box. Ask if you can have a nondescript label sent by the owners name and not the business name... This product here, all items are in a small cig box just like your Marlboros. Add some juice for refilling and the USPS box should be relativity be the size of a few cd. This site also has mod kits you can buy and make the most vapeable units for yourself. Getting one of these you could just say your have started a new hobby. Lol and it would not be lying. This e cig thing can become quite a hobby quickly.

The PO box is an awesome ides. Anyone living at home as an adult should have one. Times are tough, I have many friend that moved back home. I know whole family grandma, aunts, cousins all living under one large roof now. It seams us Americans went with greed and bigger is better a long time ago. We're the weird one not having family's live together... You started the bad cig habit, e cigs can help you get off them. Respect your parents yes, but live and save your life. you're the only one that can......

Well if I lived closer I'd let you have it shipped to my place but I'm a bit too far away for that. totally wicked looks like the closest place you can physically go to.

Well I never smoke at home usually at work and I always end up changing into street clothes from my work clothes as they're normally super messy. I work with animals.. I will definitely check that store out. It's about an hour from me but I'm always here there and everywhere over Florida.. I have horses/dogs so am always getting stuff in the mail but I know they check labels and what not... Hoping that I get a P.O box soon though. I know my parents hate it, so that's why I don't do it at home. I do hide it but only to prevent drama and what not. I'm 19 so I have the right to but I am also living under their roof so..

Don't blame you one bit...Liberty Flights is pretty innocuous packaging, but I bet they would write "vet supplies" on it if you asked. Another big benefit of e-cigs, you can safely vape in the barn. There is no burning going on when you vape.
