Drum Roll Please!

The winners of the 2012 Battle Pack Contest with 22 votes each are:

Mfraz25
"that coconut stuff"

Coconut
Sweet cream
Whipped Cream
Rum
And just a bit of lime

Pchela
"Caramel Hot Cocoa"

Rich Dark Chocolate
Bavarian Cream (or some sort of vanilla cream)
Marshmallow
Caramel

They both sound great! I will work with both winners to make both recipes taste as good as possible.

As a bonus - -- Me and Pop will both choose one more recipe each to put into a Battle Pack and will announce winnings, etc. for those two when we announce our choices.

Thank you everyone so much for participating. This is such a fun contest and I love seeing everyone's recipe ideas. It also gives me an idea of what types of flavors you want to see in the store.

Congrats! Pchela and Mfraz!

[EDIT] just noticed I bolded the recipe names - they will likely change based on winners choice.

Do you have the pink or blue ribbons in your hair Pwyll?

I figured just for simplicity's sake I would assume the stereotypical "blue for boys." But I don't really care--don't particularly like either of those shades and I'm too old to be worried about whether wearing pink would diminish my masculinity. You lick your colour and I'll be happy to claim the other one.

All I know for sure is that if we were close enough to fight, I'd rather have my hands all over you than some metal stick...2dqsxhu.gif

Well, I only know about half of my voters personally and am close with fewer so at least some people actually like my recipes and some of the people I know may actually like them too.

I understand what you and mfraz are saying but I respectfully disagree. Anyone with over 4000 and almost 9000 posts respectively is going to be recognized whenever they are on the forums (especially where you also won last year-love the 5 layer!). If someone with 50 posts came in and had a really fantastic recipe idea, they simply won't be recognized or get any significant amount of likes because they don't have the popularity required to win a contest of this type.

Just an observation, this is not meant to be coming down on anyone at all. I'll be very happy to try the mixes you guys have created. I'm also happy to hear of the twist that Pop announced, I think it's a fantastic way to balance out the contest :)

This is one of the most exciting contests I've participated in and I can't wait to see who the final 2 winners are! Come on Pop, get your speed read on :p:p:lol:
