Well, I only know about half of my voters personally and am close with fewer so at least some people actually like my recipes and some of the people I know may actually like them too.
I understand what you and mfraz are saying but I respectfully disagree. Anyone with over 4000 and almost 9000 posts respectively is going to be recognized whenever they are on the forums (especially where you also won last year-love the 5 layer!

). If someone with 50 posts came in and had a really fantastic recipe idea, they simply won't be recognized or get any significant amount of likes because they don't have the popularity required to win a contest of this type.
Just an observation, this is not meant to be coming down on anyone at all. I'll be very happy to try the mixes you guys have created. I'm also happy to hear of the twist that Pop announced, I think it's a fantastic way to balance out the contest
