A nice rainy afternoon watching the Bruins beat the Capitals to force a game 7 in the Eastern Quarter-finals....
Why do I like this? Because if it was a beautiful day, I would be wishing I was outside instead of parked on the couch watching the game.... We also need the rain....

Cherry blossoms on a neighbor's tree. Taken 5/7/09. This is one of my favorites. When the neighbor told me she was thinking of cutting down this tree because it was growing lopsided, I begged her not to. It still stands.

Everyone made the play on words of springs, and it reminded me I found an old rusty spring mattress in the early spring snow and thought some of the patterns were interesting. Taken 3/6/05.

Lots of flox. This is on a vacant corner lot down the street, but now they are building a house there. Taken 5/30/07.

A peony in my yard. This is the one that attracts the black ants that invade my house. Taken 6/6/07.

A lovely lily. Only when I got home and downloaded the photo did I notice the little spider on the flower. Taken 7/19/05, maybe a bit late for spring photos, but it is a flower, and I like this picture a lot, so I included it.
