Been a fun morning so far. Went to let the dogs out and start the work van, but the doors were iced shut. Finally got in, started the van, cranked up the defroster, and went back inside to finish getting ready. CJ woke up, and I tucked him back in after he used the bathroom. Went to let the dogs back in, and my van had quit running. By now, its time to leave, and the man's information display says "starting disabled". I had to wait ten minutes before it would start, then I had to hold the RPMs up to keep it from stalling out again. Then wait for the heat to thaw out the windshield. Finally started on my way to work. Thanks to no traction control, I slid on black ice for the first three miles. Then on every bridge, which there are at least 6 of before I make it to the interstate. Passed three wrecks because of less than smart drivers. Made it to work a half hour late. This is one of the few times I'm thankful for having to be at work an hour before everyone else.

Glad you made it safe, James. Not a good way to start the day....
