Took me 2 1/2 hours to get to work this morning, thanks to rain and accidents and stalled cars. Walked in to nothing but emergencies. TWO deep reach lifts with battery failures. Had to make emergency calls to our battery contractor for replacement rental batteries. My 3rd shift supervisor ran over a package with a forklift, and it has to be replaced at our expense. Scheduling was a nightmare due to slow workload (my work force is union, so scheduling is VERY complicated due to seniority rules, shift start times, minimum hours requirements, consecutive day off requirements, you name it).

I'm torn between wanting to turn homicidal or burst into tears and go home. LOL

Can I have a do-over for this morning?

Shame you have that funky cough that just showed up. You best go straight home and go to bed. You might be catchy.....

I'm hoooome! The outlet was fun but driving in the car with my mom for two hours is worthy of a gold medal. She has the worst road rage. She complains about every driver that passes her or gets in front of her. She b1tches the whole time. Drove me and my sister bonkers!!!! I bought a manual can opener, set of bowls and some clothes from Old Navy with a GC I had. Spent less than $25 all day!

You are all liked. Hope you are all ok. Be back after I cook supper.

Hell day never ended until just now. After I got back from my running around, The DirecTV guy was done. Done making and leaving a huge mess on the floor, breaking a ceiling tile, and letting his ladder fall from where it was leaning on the roof and knocking down one of our security cameras.

But I still left at 5 for an hour and a half of OT. Which is good, because thats early compared to what its been. We finally got our tv/phone/internet back late last night.

I still think Im not going to stay online too long though. Ive already popped the top on my beer and want to open up my book.

I'm happy you got your internet, phone, and tv back. Hope you enjoy your beer and that tomorrow at work is better.
