Y'all might be sick of hearing about Nox, but I found a use for the wood box his ashes came in. It's just a stained, I think, pine box. It has a brass plate with "Nox" on it.
The "Pet funeral home" for lack of a better term (http://www.littlefriendspetmemorial.com) has a big ranch in Texas. They have a memorial plaque that all of the animals that come through their facility have a place on.

They said it would be 3-4 months until Nox's plaque is mounted. When it does, I'm going to go check the place out and get pics. It's supposed to be a really nice place. I believe they allow leashed pets. If so, Loki and Lui will come. I believe it will be ultimate closure.
And no, it wasn't crazy expensive. 85 pound dog with a promise of the remains only being of your dog was $265 with the box in the pic. Ashes in a zip tied bag, of course.
But Lui has been growling at nothing every night the last few nights. He only growls when he hears the downstairs door or someone coming up the outside steps to my apartment. Just saying.

Badass. Because that's what it is. You're going to love it! You got the mini or full size? I have both, but an extension on the regular one. So now it uses 18650 batts. Which more mods use, it seems.
