My Beautiful Daughter In Law (see photo) will be graduating in May from The Ohio State Veterinary School....She worked so hard.She will be the first Dr. in either of our families..Her parents love her so much as do we....I even bought a dress for the occasion....

New super not having a good day with fellow employes. I'm just taking in the entertainment. I ignore him and do what I've always do. Boys want to know when I'm going to go off on him. I say give him enough rope he'll hang himself. he's working on it.

He seems reasonably intelligent, has a sense of humor, and hasn't done anything really dumb-azz yet! Keeping my fingers crossed.
I thought I was having a decent day until I got home. My computer keeps giving me the BSOD, Xena is being a terror, and one of the cats barfed on my bed. Maybe it's a good thing I remembered to stop at the beer store on my way home!

Finished up everything for clients that I'm currently working on and got everything shipped out/pickup. Now it's time to have some alcohol and pack.

I got bad news in the mail today, they are talking about "downsizing" our post office, or getting rid of it all together. I'm voting for the downsize over closing, but I hate that they are doing it. I don't want to drive 18+ miles to the next one. ugh. And I like our two postal peeps.
Today I left early as I was done working and had a meeting to attend. Came home to something that kind of creeps me out. Someone called my house about an order. WHAT???? My house???? An email or ticket, or calling the shop won't do? Asking on one of the forums no longer works? I'm glad I missed the call, and won't be returning it.

I really caught up yesterday. I had some small jobs today; maintenance on a Kimber (I really, really dislike Kimber) and a return to battery on a 1911 I built (One of the first, actually). Just a worn spring, not a big deal. But it sure is nice seeing my work come in, looking good with no real issues. The guy put over 25k rounds through this pistol without a problem.
Mexico does indeed sound nice right now.
Sucks about the PO. Can you schedule pickups?
Yeah, that's creepy about the house call. I wouldn't return it, either.

Just popping my head into to say hope every one of the Posse has a wonderful rest of the week. I'll be back on sometime hopefully Sunday evening. Vacation/10th Anniversary trip begins tomorrow. I got packing & laundry to get done and tons of other stuff to do! See the Posse later!
