I got bad news in the mail today, they are talking about "downsizing" our post office, or getting rid of it all together. I'm voting for the downsize over closing, but I hate that they are doing it. I don't want to drive 18+ miles to the next one. ugh. And I like our two postal peeps.
Today I left early as I was done working and had a meeting to attend. Came home to something that kind of creeps me out. Someone called my house about an order. WHAT???? My house???? An email or ticket, or calling the shop won't do? Asking on one of the forums no longer works? I'm glad I missed the call, and won't be returning it.
Yeah...that's creepy. As much as I appreciate the benefits of the Internet, some aspects of it are very much not good.

It's slightly less creepy than the minivan load of ladies that showed up here one Sunday afternoon. They decided to drop in on the "herb lady" in hopes of a tour. WHAT???? I live here. 
Yeah...that's creepy. As much as I appreciate the benefits of the Internet, some aspects of it are very much not good.

OMG! That's just nuts!
It was. We're the only place on a dead end road, with a killer driveway through the woods. I didn't even hear them coming, we were doing yard work out back. All at once it looked like a clown car of old ladies, then they were milling around, "Oh look at her lovely hostas!" Their "tour" consisted of the driveway, right back down it.

That sounds really good. Chilly here, and that always puts me in the mood for comfort food.
And I think I need to make a vat of that soup too. It just sounds good, especially in the cold weather.
