Really? One post in over two hours? And I soon as I go to bed, I know you guys are gonna blow up the servers. Sheesh.

I just wanted to get on here long enough to say that I got out the snap caps and let Mrs E load, dry fire, and cycle the XD. She did ok, but I cant believe how much strength she doesnt have in her hands. She managed to load the magazine, but barely. And she couldnt hardly pull the slide back. BUT she DID IT.

Ok, that really was it. Good night!

It's all in technique.

Have her read this. It's by women, for women.

AAAAAAND good morning. With the weather turning to crap today, Im betting that our draft will be postponed...again... We should be having our first practice today, but since Mother Nature has gone menopausal lately, there is no telling when we will actually be able to get started.

Aside from the VPs coming by today, nothing fun and exciting happening here... Yep. Just a whole ball of fun is I.

Did James go to bed yet so we can all talk?
I think so.:lol::lol:

Ugh, I have the worst acid reflux right now. 2 Prilosec and 2 CVS brand antacids (tagament generic) and I'm still in a lot of discomfort. I HATE acid reflux. I can drink a glass of water, no joke, and it flares up. It's starting to subside. I just can't think of anything that would be causing it. I didn't eat dinner last night very late, so that's not it.

Anyone else have dibilitating heartburn? If I don't take a Prilosec first thing in the morning, by noon I can barely eat, drink anything without it causing issues. No ulcers or anything that several docs could find. But my psych did say that taking Prilosec daily is fine. But I'm finding that at least twice a week I have to take a second in the afternoon.

I don't have health insurance, so Nexium is out of the question.

Mrs E had acid reflux/ulcers for a while not too long ago. She had to be on a daily regiment of what the docs called a "reflux pack". I cant remember what meds it had in it, but it was like a combo of Nexium and Prilosec. Since both do the same thing, but work in different ways, they can be taken together. It was a single generic prescription.

Can you find out more about the 'reflux pack', please? I can look at a glass of water and get heartburn. Also, is it expensive w/o insurance.?

Yeah, Prilosec is Amepazole Magnesium. Nexium is Esomeprazole Magnesium. I've taken both. Since I don't have health insurance, Prilosec makes more sense, as it's ~$25 for a month vs. Nexium at ~$350-400/month. NO brainer to me.

Prilosec works very well for me. But sometimes I do have breakthrough symptoms. That's when I just take a tagament, etc. It's manageable, but a PITA.

I would post this in the GUN show, but we get more traffic here. GEARHOG | 50% - 70% off your favorite outdoors, hunting and fishing gear has "Gunsmithing the AR-15: How to Maintain, Repair & Accessorize" for a good price. It's a great book and can walk someone who'd never touched an AR and have them complete the lower assembly within an hour.

15.99 GEARHOG | 50% - 70% off your favorite outdoors, hunting and fishing gear has "Gunsmithing the AR-15: How to Maintain, Repair & Accessorize" for $15.99. This is a FANTASTIC reference or building your first AR-15. Which costs ~1/2 of buying a complete.

I just ordered 8 1 x XD(M) .45 ACP 13 RD High Capacity Magazine and 10 9MM 16 RD High Capacity Magazine. I freaking love having an FFL. Don't get me wrong, things are still difficult to find for the most part. But I have buddies in the industry that call me as soon as they get stock in (mostly AR lowers and 'standard cap mags [30 rounder AR mags and >10rd handgun mags]).

Oh, if anyone knows where I can find a S&W M&P10 (their new .308 AR) please let me know. I've been wanting an AR-10 for a minute.

Morning posse. The snow has started here again, wonder what we're going to end up with. I'm tired of snow.

espresso. double shot.

Are you finished with the West Coast Roasting? Nate has some new stuff listed. West Coast Roasting Company - Fine Coffee Roasters I can personally speak for Kenya, Panama, Honduras Cup of Excellence Lot #2 and Colombia Pedregal Lot 172.

Seriously, if you haven't had coffee from Nate, at least try it. 20% of his profit goes to Charity, although I can't remember which.

Fair warning: His beans come whole. So if you don' have a grinder, ask him to grind for you. Tell him I sent you. And no, I get no special treatment for sending business his way. I'm just incredibly impressed with his beans and the quality of roast. V can vouch for me.

Make snow balls and throw them at Victor and MR. V. Also make 'snow witchdoctors'.

So, we've previously mentioned a CC Posse meet. Is this still in the works, or not. Also, V, I'd hate to impose, but what's available for sleeping accomidations? I'd be fine w/ sharing a motel/hotel room with Rick, James or both. That way everyone can save some money.

Verified Witchdoctor - In a Hut
I can vouch for Nate's coffee too, he roasts a mean bean.

Snow witchdoctor.

I'd love to host a posse get together. But we need to get the bigger building first. The deli one we are looking at has a big yard, a park across the street and a motel nearby. The current hut is too tiny and the nearest hotel is the super8, 25 miles away.
