Good morning!

CJ came down with a fever this morning.... Last night he woke up around 10:30 saying he thought he was going to get sick. He is still complaining about his stomach hurting. So Mrs E is staying at home with him while I take the girls to Children's Mass. I get to stop by Walmart after I drop off Kat for Sunday school. Then I get to drop Melanie off with Kat for choir practice. Then meet my inlaws for the service. They are coming to watch the girls sing today. THEN, I get to go to my grandmothers house to visit for a few minutes and pick up my mom's merchant marine license so I can scan and email it to her so she can continue to work. If I dont, they will literally send her home without pay. And finally, stop at the mop chop shop to get a haircut.... And thats just the plan before lunch.

So, I better get going. Y'all have a good morning! I'll be back this afternoon.

If I survive the morning.

I know once I started shooting it was definitely something that hubby and I love to do together. Of course he likes to give me the guns to try out and not tell me the recoil will knock me on my ..... Or leave permanent dents in my shoulder. I'm not so much interested in getting his XDM but would love to have his LCP. It's nice and pocket sized.

My ex did that with his black powder rifle! He put a double load in it without telling me, bruised my shoulder!

Y'all would HATE to shoot my Mosin Nagant! 7.62x54R is one hell of a charge! It'll knock you on your ... if you have bad form.

Not my pic. But as the law states, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

With only 50 rounds that I had bought weeks ago (the last 50 rounds the store had), We didnt have enough to go through the three distances, but I did make her do two. 3 yards and 7 yards. She was ok with her own report. It was the other lanes that made her flinch. The recoil was no problem at all. She is still having problems with racking the slide, but loading, releasing the slide, and firing were no problems. The grips of the XD were too big for her hand, but she adjusted well. If she continues to enjoy it, I have a feeling we will have to look for something with a smaller grip. Maybe a Bersa or something. But Im still proud of her.

I'll do my best to keep up with the site, thank you for it.

Have her read this. Racking the slide is all in technique. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to be strong.

Just checked that ammo site...

$30 for 20 rds. BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!! Nope. I think I can wait!!!

Yeah, you REALLY have to search for deals. There are other ammo search engines out there. I can't remember any off the top of my head.

Oh, www.slickguns.com has an ammo section.
