Tiff just PM'd me. Morgan had an adverse reaction to one of her medications and it looked like a stroke. She had an ambulance take Morgan to the ER.

No news beyond that.

Oh ....e! Keep us posted and let her know they're on our thoughts and prayers if you talk to her.

Hope mrs e starts feeling better. If not, you'll get to see how small the world is....

Good morning!!!

And we are down to less than 12 hours before we embark on a journey of excessive spending, unending aggrivations, and of course, the most fun that the kids have ever had. That makes the other two parts worth it.... At least, thats the theory.

I just heard on the radio that a parent was called and told to come to the middle school to pick up her child. He had been suspended for whatever reason. She gets to the school, and sees him sitting in the office with his head down, and she proceeds to start slapping the crap out him over and over. Then realizes ITS NOT HER KID!!!! Once it clicks, she then sees her kid, then walks over and starts smacking him, too. I guess all of the kids in that town (not that far away from where I live) look the same.

If she starts on the drugs, she will at least be able to start getting around again by tomorrow. So, its going to be cutting it close. We're leaving tonight, but we wont get to the park until tomorrow.

Yep. Brat burger! There is no casing. The meat is just pressed into a burger patty. Absolutely nothing fancy about them, but they are REALLY good.

Link?

And we did tell you House is awesome!!!

Mornin' Rick. I only liked that because you said you think you are going to live. The rest of it is not very likable.

OMG....Oh Jeeze....Dammmmit. Does that woman ever catch a break?
No. No she doesnt. And I hate it for her. The good part of it, is that she didnt get sick while the kids were sick. All three of them have been alright for a few weeks now.

Oh ....e! Keep us posted and let her know they're on our thoughts and prayers if you talk to her.
Will do.

I've had a few "Bravo" moments with my boys, but one pops into my head right away. Ian got thrown out and banned from a local bar for going there with one of his co-workers. His friend is gay so they assumed Ian was too and threw them both out. When Ian told me about it, he said it was OK with him if that's how the people that go there think, he didn't want to go back anyway.

Last week Saturday, I attended a party celebrating the marriage of two of my gay friends. They actually got married in Vancouver. I asked them why they didn't get married in one of the states where gay marriage is legal, and they said it really doesn't matter where they get married - it's null in Texas. Also, one of them is originally from Australia and has a visa. Again, their marriage in Vancouver (or even if they got married in teh states) would not affect the possibility of him being sent back to Australia. However, now that they have been married in Vancouver, if there's a chance that the Australian partner may get called back, they are making emergency plans to move to Canada - just in case. The whole thing is just crazy, but I'm happy for them all the same.

Soooo I've decided that everyone needs a Pomeranian. They are the nicest dogs ever.I always thought of myself as a "Big dog" person.I love my Newfies and Border Collies run a close second but these little poms have such great personalities. They love to sit on your lap and they are just so sparkley... As much as Dixie has gone thru with this neck thing she's as adorable as ever.Poms do not whine..They don't...and they are not snippy barkers..The only thing that's bad even if it's considered bad is maintaining their fur...Dixie's fur is different from the dog I may or may not have gotten from Cleveland. He's wash and wear.Hose him down and blow dry him and he Poof's up.Dixie doesn't poof so I have to brush but it only takes 5 minutes. So after dinner tonight everyone go out and adopt a Pom...

I'm more of a cat person. We have three in our house. There's Mr. Echo the chocolate point siamese, Tennessee the tuxedo, and Spencer the siamese-tabby blend. They make us happy.

Just filled up my tank with the house blend and its great !!! Its just what I was looking for and can tell it will get even better .I DIY most of my own blends and can tell when something is great with in the first few days of being mixed that it will only get better and better.Im loving it and will be ordering more for sure and other than one flavor from another vendor I havnt bought any juices from any vendors in close to 5 or 6 months :) And for those who said I should have got more you were right  Hope this 15mls will last till I can get more .Still have 4 more flavors to try tonight so I will report back as I try them .If they are anything like the house blend I cant wait ! I am very impressed with this juice so far FlyingV .I hope that one day I can come close to a mix like this :toast: P.S. This house blend blows a certain star wars themed juice(BOBAS)LOL out of the water in IMO

I still have yet to try Boba's, but I really have never had the desire to do so. Yes, I like the tobacco blends every once in a while, but not the straight stuff so much. I was very happy with the House Blend when I first got it in the mail, but I'm now letting it steep for at least a week before I try it again. And I got 30ml of it right off the bat! I also haven't touched the Voo's Broo or Chocolate Chip cookie sample I got - also deciding it's best to let it rest.

I recently started thread of best and worst juices members on the forum have tried and Im heading over to add these right now :)

Where's the link to that thread? Nevermind, found it.

Just got the word that, in honor of Easter Sunday, we're closing up shop here at 2p. It'll probably be about 3p before I'm able to split, but I'm definitely planning on taking advantage of it. Have a good day all!

Hey Posse. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers this morning and thank you James for updating everyone. Let me give you a quick run down of what happened. It scared the $h!t out of me and Morgan both!

Earlier this week her psychiatrist started her on a new medicine, Haldol, to see if it would help with the tics and see if it would stop the skin picking and incontinence issues. The thought was that they could possibly be tics and we wanted to see if this new med would work. Let's just say she WILL NOT be taking that again!

Yesterday I had to pick her up from school early because they said she didn't seem like she felt good and was really sleepy and had an upset stomach. I brought her home and she slept from 2:30 until 6. She got up for about an hour and a half to eat a little and then right back to sleep and slept all night. I got up this morning, made my coffee, said good morning on the thread then started our morning routine. This morning I got her up for school and gave her breakfast and her morning meds. After about 20 minutes she came to me and said her neck felt funny and it was pulling to the side and she couldn't stop it. She would force her neck back straight and it would immediately pull back to the side. Within a few minutes her mouth started to droop on one side and she started having trouble talking. I called hubby at work and told him (he's an EMT) and he said to get her to the hospital. It just kept getting worse before I could get out of the house to take her to the hospital and it was scary. I just ended up calling 911 and having them come out. By then her neck was all the way to the side and she couldn't move it and her mouth was drooping and she was slurring her words when she could get them out.

I was pretty sure it was an adverse reaction to the new med but was scared because the inital symptoms resembled a possible stroke. Talk about freakin' out. She was crying and asking me the best she could to help her. Broke my heart. The ambulance got here and gave her a massive dose of benadryl through an iv and the symptoms started to improve. At the ER they gave her more and they completely subsided. They kept her a while to watch her and then sent us home for her to rest and on benadryl today and tomorrow until this med can work it's way out of her system. She is fine now and asleep from the benadryl and the med I had already given her this morning. Talk about feeling bad about giving her something that did that to her.

Spring break starts Monday and we're going to Ft. Walton Beach for the week. We all need the break and rest. I think I'm going to lay down with her and read my book while she's resting before I have to go pick up Alex from school. Hubby is at work today and won't be home til tomorrow then he'll be off for a week. Thank goodness!

That's all I got right now. I'll be back later after my tension headache improves and I pick up Alex from school. Thanks again for all the thoughts!
