I am so tired now...
I finally got out of bed. It felt good to get the bird's nest off of my face. I think its been like a month since I shaved.

In a few minutes Im going to toss a frozen pizza in the oven for lunch, then take Melanie to my brother's house so she can play with my niece and spend the night. Then Im taking CJ to the post season softball party, where Mrs E will meet me after work with Kathryn. I need to find my cooler and pack some beer. That many kids around requires adult beverages.

I hope everyone has a great day!!!

Raising my head up out of school work for a few. This makes my eyes glaze over. All I'm doing is setting up course content online. I am taking the opportunity to revise my syllabi a little and I'm gonna make some changes to the midterm and final exams. More essay questions!

Did I hear Magnum bars?

We went to get chicken food, then a wandering ride home on the back roads. It's been a beautiful day today. Just getting ready to go do the chicken lock down for the night.

Oh, we went out for pizza while we were driving aimlessly.

And I forgot to look for legos at F&F. I doubt they actually have them, so I will look next time I go to a non-farm store.

tired. Too much pizza.....

Good evening y'all. I took the bike to the post season party tonight. I was kinda surprised that the wife didnt mind. Several people thought it was hilarious that I was supposed to be home by 8pm, and that I am over 30 years old with a permit. Oh well. I am finding out more and more that I REALLY need some more time to get used to riding. Shifting, up or down, is no longer an issue. But pulling off from a stop, and low speed turns are giving me a hard time.

The party was an absolute blast. The girls were disappointed when they didnt get a reaction when they dumped ice water down the back of my shirt. Then I had one girl that refused to get in the pool, even though her mother took her bathing suit shopping this afternoon JUST for this party. So I picked her up, and threw her in. And was subsequently shoved in by a dozen players. Thankfully, I kinda figured something like that might happen, and I had taken out my mod and cell phone long before then.

And yes... there was plenty of alcohol. The hostess is a former bartender with 15 plus years experience. I dont know what I drank, but it was GOOOOOD. Dont worry... I made sure I was all sobered up before we left.

I can only guess that the girls enjoyed their massive cake. I wouldnt know. I was sitting down, enjoying my adult beverage, when out of no where, I have 6 girls surrounding me, either shoving cake in my face, or just throwing it at me.

Seriously, we really did have a good time.

But now, Im off to bed. Tomorrow involves picking up Melanie from my brother, taking her and CJ to a birthday party, picking up Kathryn (who's staying overnight with the older sister of the birthday kid), then going to meet another 5 or 6 girls at the ball park to take them all to a pitching clinic an hour away until 5pm. Then take all of the girls home.

At least I have Monday off. Even if I am using it to go to the county treasurer and then the DMV. Oh well. At least I can legally ride by then.

-Sallie, Im glad the day turned out well, and that you got to visit with Mom.

-FV, there is no such thing as too much pizza.

-Tiff, thats awesome(?) that nothing fits from last year. I think....

-Rick... that is just evil... unless they deserve more questions.

If they have cake.Eat some for me..I love me some cake...

I think they brought cake out at the end, but I was too full! Girlfriend's family is Italian, so there was lasagna, sausages, BBQ shrimp and hot dogs and burgers, potato and macaroni salad. Then the desserts were CC cookies, cheesecake, and Andy made kringles. It was all yummy! :)
