I'm headed out for a hair cut shortly. I'm sure it will involve some form of alcoholic beverage. Hopefully my hair dresser won't join me until after she's finished cutting.

You may have just given me a clue as to why I don't have any hair left on the top of my head. Alcohol and my hairdresser, Mrs Punkin!

Soooo Pumpkin what kind a pup you looking for?

Hum, I would really like to get her a puppy but don't know what breed to get. She thought our last dog, a beagle, would pull too hard on the leash when she went for a walk. But he was SO loving to her in every way. Her best friend. I need to find one that does not require too much exercise but likes all the attention she would give too it.

I went by petsmart for dog food after work and talked to the trainer a bit more about the service dog training. Basically it will cost me about $500 spread out over the next year. I'm going for it. Got hubbys approval on it too. I'll be making an appt for neutering him, the dog, not hubby, next week.

I've already swept and cleaned the kitchen. I should probably be painting doors and trim but I can't seem to find the motivation for it right now.

I ordered a pink camo jacket on eBay but it doesn't fit. :( guess I'll put it back up on eBay to resell it.

How is everyone's Saturday going?

Hmmmm....Chihuahuas are very loyal to their owner. More of a one person dog sometimes. Pugs are good.

As far as dogs that require regular grooming...toy poodle, maaaaybe shin tzu.

I don't think she would want one that requires a lot of grooming but would something like a chihuahuas like the PA weather? I'll have to look at pugs for more info.

Howdy posse,
Punkin, Not talking you into or out of pugs. We have two, pretty low maint. lap dog. Very friendly. Ours bark like crazy when they hear something outside. The only thing we know is they are prone to kidney stones, both of ours have had to have them removed but I think we have learned that diet can play a role in reducing them. My wife might just put me on craiglist before the pugs, she is hooked. Hollar if I can help

My vote is for Chihuahua, I love mine! :) Whatever you do , don't get a Jack Russell - a friend has one and they get into stuff when they are mad you left them at home, and have WAYYYY too much energy!

It would be fine inside. You could always buy a little sweater.
Or several little sweaters, some Tshirts, maybe some boots...

Howdy folks! Just got back in from the beach. Air temps around 85, water temps around 80, decent breeze and nothing but sunshine!!!

We went to the grrrrrr store this morning. We needed to get everything we needed for dinner tomorrow. And beer. Had to have beer. Mrs E has fussed at me. She thought I was going to get a 12 pack. I got 24. :D

I have held true to what I told her I would be doing today. Nothing but beach and beer. And so far, thats all Ive had to drink today, and Im slightly sunburned already.

We surprised Kat today. We knew that one of her best friends was going to be at Myrtle Beach this weekend (we're at North Myrtle). And we told her parents how to get to us and they stopped by for a couple of hours while we were on the beach. Her reaction was priceless.

Now, Mrs E and my stepmom are out shopping, and my dad is out on the beach with his metal detector. My brother and I are sitting in the condo with all of the kids.

Dinner is being prepared at the moment. Pot roast, taters, green beans, fresh corn, garden maters, and biscuits. With a side of beer, of course!

Sounds like you have a great weekend planned James! Enjoy it.

Good morning posse. I can't decide what I should do first today. My list consists of clean, clean and clean. Hmmmm.... the fun never ends around here. :glare:
It is an AWESOME weekend in the making!! I hate that no one else seems to be expecting one this good. Just not enough to stop enjoying it. ;)

Loving the Grogg FV....It's a great fall vape.Makes me want to shake my curls free and run naked thru the crackling leaves...That's just how good it is....
:pop:
I'll be beside PD on the front row!

After she's done? You just have no sense of fun and adventure, do you?

And my Saturday has been PERFECT!!!

I was going to say something... But I wont. IMO, dogs shouldnt wear sweaters or clothes. The exception being extreme climates. But, opinions are like....(as Morgan said) armpits.

Oh, I picked up a turtle pond spitter while I was out. I can hardly wait to see what Victor thinks of it. He likes the turtle, but it hasn't spit water on him. Yet.

Yes, I will try to take a pic.
HA!
