They were wrong...So more time in a cast....Then surgery but I can't afford 5,000 for that...So we have to find something permanent that she feels comfortable in for the rest of her life.She does fine when in the cast but her quality of life sucks..She spends days trying to get it off...

I'd call the local sewing shops and look for someone that does custom work. Long ago and far away I worked for a tailor part time. We did lots of odd things, like hoods for falcons, etc. It is amazing what a good seamstress can do, perhaps with boning like you put in a wedding gown for stiffness, a soft brace could be created for her. *thinking cap is on*

@Tiff, a "Memory Care" facility. As in back gates are locked and the staff is super watchful so they don't lose anyone.
