Well that's about as stupid as eggs and pineapple were in Hawaii. If you bought local, they were fresh and cost less. But if you bought them in the supermarket, they had been shipped (by boat) from the mainland, so were a lot older and cost more due to the shipping and processing.![]()

That is really stupid.
We used to deliver potatoes to Idaho, then reload with different potatoes and bring them back to WI. That sure drives the price of potatoes way up. Same with chickens, we'd take a load to TX, then bring different chickens back.![]()
I know right? What kind of sense does that make??
