So the table will have to wait til everyone in the house is awake. Hubby and Morgan are still asleep. If I leave the room and Ruger can't follow me he starts barking or crying so that'll wake theme up. I'd take him out with me but he hasn't learned to stay in the yard and there's nothing I can tether him to.

Its almost 10:30! Wake them up!

Or just tie Ruger to your shoelace.

My wife just called. Cocoa got sick again. And with it being nothing but boiled chicken and her meds, Mrs E called the vet again. Theyve basically said without the ultrasound, they cant find the underlying isssue. So, she said what would happen if we get the ultrasound done? They told her that there is a 50/50 chance that there will be nothing that can be done. And the "good" part of the 50/50 will only give her a few months, but would be extremely expensive. Not just in the vet bill, but as far as meds and special foods go.

We're going to have her put to sleep this afternoon if they have an appt open. Mrs E said if we want to stay for it, we have to have an appt.... Im already a wreck right now... I cant watch that...

((((((((James)))))))). I'm so so sorry! I don't know what else to say but I'm sorry you're all going through that!!

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

My wife just posted that on my wall from another friend... Thank you.

Good idea. Shoelace thing, not waking them up. Bad idea.

What?!?

It would be a better idea to wake them up than it would be to tie a dog to your shoe.

You're right, I'm not. I'm searching for a pic of JD. :D
