I stopped at the hut after getting my car. I had made a barricade of dining room chairs all around the baby chicken brooder. Victor did manage to move them all, and there are nose prints on the glass. :glare:

The hut looks like a game of duck, duck, goose gone wrong....

uh oh.......

Good luck, Tiff. I hope they get on the ball soon! Sounds like a very frustrating process.

It's beyond frustrating. Can you imagine the poor parent that doesn't know the special ed law or how the system works? The poor kids gets substandard education and the parent doesn't know any better. Then there are those parents that just don't give a dam and think it is solely the schools responsibility. I've run in to my fair share of those when I did advocacy work. It INFURIATES me.

Think of the money ....You will be able to smoke a couple of butts with the money...Think of the money....
Another fun filled day is about over... At least from a work standpoint.

I get to leave here, get home, wife leaves for work, change clothes, make sure we have everything we need for practice, immediately leave and go to the school's open house, rush through that (since I hate open house night) and get to the ball field by 7:00 for practice until 9:00, then get home, feed the kids, get them bathed, then throw them in bed. And once all of that is done, my wife should get home just in time to not have dealt with any of it. :glare: I was mad when she told me she had volunteered to work tonight... I still am.

I dont know if I'll be back on tonight...

The crazieness of living in Wisconsin...
Please tell!!!! I really could use a good giggle today. Please.... *begging*

It's been quite a day over here. I had forgotten about that appointment to get tires put on the witchdoctor mobile. So in the midst of the fun trying to catch up, I had to run my car to Ford. Yes, that's 25 miles away. Anyhoo, I got my tires and headed for home. Decided that I really needed to take the back roads to test them out. :D

And luckily I had slowed for a blind curve, as when I could see, there was a huge Angus cow standing in the road. Holy moly! She was a very nice cow, with a brand. I herded her with the car to the nearest farm and yelled for help. Not his cow, but he knows where she lives. A happy ending for all.

And late back to work due to a cow. Go figure.

I forgot what else.... it's been nuts....

Well I'm off to the meeting about the Orlando Band trip. While I am reluctant for her to go alone, Hubby has outright said to me today that she can't go unless one of us goes with her. So I'm hoping it's gonna turn out ok. Of course they've talked it up all over the place in class and built up the hopes of the kids.

Update on the puppy search...

The more I think about it, the more I think we'd probably better go with an Aussie than a Husky.

Now that it's about time to decide, Mr. Doom has finally given his input. He says he just wants a dog that will help protect us and the house. Well, a Husky would not be that dog. They love everyone, no one is a stranger. If someone were robbing us, a Husky would probably hold the door open for them while they haul our stuff off. Aussies tend to be more loyal and protective.

I'm kinda liking this guy:

I love Aussies. I'm wanting a Merle. Very intelligent But high energy. Got to keep them busy.

That's what I love about them. I want a high-energy dog, the kids would thrive with a playmate. And I want a dog I can take to the park to play. At her age, Coco wears out quickly. Poor baby. I love smart dogs, although they can be more of a challenge. I really enjoy training, and I think a dog who loves to be given tasks would do well in my home.

The more I look at the pups, I think I want Sampson. He has those pretty spots on his face. If he gets claimed I'll try for Rex. I wish I could take them both, but Mr. D would kill me.

I have 2 weeks before I can act on anything, waiting on my paycheck. Again. I'll be furious if it's late again, but so far it looks like there won't be any hangups.

I just hope Sampson can wait for me. I could put down a deposit but Mr D wants me to wait until my check comes in. *sigh*

I think they'd both be a good choice. They're adorable!
