Good morning Posse.

Another soggy start to the day this morning. I was in too much of a hurry to get out of the house this morning, I didnt catch what the weather is going to be for the rest of the day, but it seems to be stopping. I hope it does... our ball fields tend to not want to dry out quickly.

I still havent heard back from all of my parents on what they want to do this season. The ones I have heard back from all say they want to play, even though we will have to play against girls that are older with more skill and experience. I think Im going to talk to the players before practice, well away from the parents so they can give me their thoughts without any parental input.

In the meantime, I better get to work. As busy as I was Thursday and Friday, I didnt get very much accomplished.

I hope everyone has a good day!

Oh, btw... I agree with Lord... bigger jugs are better. Of HOUSE...bigger jugs of House... are better...

Morning posse. I finally got rid of my sister. Not permanently, but at least she went home. :D Unfortunately that meant my brother-in-law went with her. That I'm truly sorry about. He could stay for a month and I wouldn't get sick of his company... as long as he left my sister home. :glare:

Getting done with today's orders over here so we can leave. *snivel, whine*

Where's everyone been lately? No Rick, no Sallie..... No Stretchy today???

See above...

We now have 3 weeks of peace and quiet before the next set of visitors descend on us. We're having friends from Florida plus his daughter and her husband and two kids. It feels like I'm running a bed and breakfast this summer. The only problem is the money is going out, but none is coming back in. We had to buy new mattresses for the guest rooms. One of the ones we're replacing was our old mattress from 10 years ago and has seen better times, the other one was a cheapo full we bought when we moved into the house and cost us all of $150 for the set. All of the people visiting this time are amazons, so we decided we'd better get a full XL so their feet don't hang off the bottom of the bed. That also means new bedding for the full xl.... Ugh.

After they leave we get 2 weeks off and then more company.

If one more person calls and says they want to visit this year I'm going on a vacation while they visit and my husband can deal with them alone. Don't these people realize I'm a hermit and I like living in the middle of nowhere so people don't bother me? Sheesh!

In fact if one more person calls and says they want to visit this year and my husband agrees, I think I will make good use of those new mattresses we just bought and move my husband into one of the guest rooms for awhile.

Good morning James and Drott.

As I pulled into the parking lot at work I got a call that said I could take the day off due to no dogs. So I'm sitting in the Petsmart parking lot waiting for them to open. I bought a new harness for Ruger yesterday and it doesn't fit.

Hubby's at home with a migraine. :( Alex didn't want to go to school today but that's not unusual. Its a daily thing :banghead: I'm hoping for no phone calls from his school today. Morgan did great though

I don't want to waste the day so I am thinking I'll do some painting when I get home. Not decided yet.

Hope everyone has a good day. :)

Dang, we haven't been to Maine in a very long time and just the other day Mrs Punkin said, "let's call Sallie and see if we can go up and visit." I guess I'll have to break the news to her... :(

<jk> I do know how you feel. We USE to get those requests when we lived out west. Turns out they just wanted a free place to stay so they could go to Disney Land. Now nobody comes to visit us anymore(yeah) because they already seen the Amish and their buggies!
